Since then, they helped us train her and train our 2nd Shepard in Schutzhund training by Dwayne. Dwayne can train any type of dog to track or protect, pretty amazing! Annnd, they've vastly expanded their dog kennel and horse area. The dog kennel is huge! Spots for the dog inside and outside. They have a huge social area, so when you drop your dog off (assuming they are not aggressive) they can have a fun time with other 4 leggers! We've left both our dogs with them and have had great experiences every time. As far as their grooming goes = top notch! Today we dropped Chief off in the morning to get his Easter/Summer Beach bod showing! Pants shortened, nails clipped and pruned and ready for the Easter ladies! He looks great. There is no other place in Hampton Roads we trust more then Blue Sky Farms!

Somehow, that became three days on my bill.The owner explained they charge by "calendar day," meaning even a 24‑hour stay counts as two days. In my case, a 48‑hour stay magically transformed into three. Impressive, if you're grading creativity. Not so impressive if you're the one paying.Nothing else about the experience was terrible, but the pricing structure is misleading at best and predatory at worst. I won't be returning, and I recommend anyone considering this place ask very specific questions about how they calculate time -- preferably with a calculator in hand.

I decided to come to this location because I could get an appointment a few weeks earlier than at Kempsville. I am very happy that I decided to try the Great Bridge location and think I will continue to come to this location even though it's a little more of a drive from my home. This location is very small compared to the Kempsville location but feels more friendly and comfortable, it has a small town independent vibe that I like. I never felt rushed and didn't have to spend much time waiting. My Basset Hound was actually seen a few minutes before her scheduled appointment time. The staff is awesome and Dr. Alex provides great care. She's not shy about getting down on the floor to examine my dog and takes the time needed for a thorough assessment. Her knowledge and professionalism are much appreciated. The small private parking lot is more than adequate for the business and is not crowded like the one at the Kempsville location. There was plenty of room to easily park my vehicle. The pavement doesn't look fresh or new but it is clean and free of debris. I am very happy I tried the Great Bridge location of Acredale Animal Hospital. I now consider it my first choice when my pet needs care.
