We've stopped by here a couple times on our way between Chicago and Door County, WI. The people who have been here have always been helpful, but the location is fantastic. A small building perched high over Lake Michigan, with a boardwalk around the outside, and a viewer to check out distant ships or land. We've also found this to be a great lunch break spot, sitting on the hill or benches to enjoy a beautiful and relaxing picnic. Definitely take the lake drive when heading North!
