It is family Friendly and is free to enter between 5:30 AM - 10 PM. The park offers walking trails, several ponds, a splash pad and playground, picnic areas, large covered event areas to rent, sports fields and courts (football, soccer, baseball, basketball, volleyball). There is always security personnel and clean restrooms, and plenty of parking. The park is well maintained and frequented by joggers, walkers, and those who come to just enjoy time outside. Kudos to Edinburg for making this place a great city park.

Without a lot of places around like it, it's nice to have this club here…read more First the positive: This is a safe place to shoot skeet or trap. They have around 3-4 skeet fields and two trap fields. Skeet fields have a "high house" and a "low house" for clays. Near the back they have an advanced set up for the guys that shoot competition or whatever. Plus, they plan to expand in the near future. Rules are posted on the field for you to see. Cons: The price is a little steep if you're on a budget. Membership is $150 a year and you have to be a member of the NRA to join. If you''re 29 yrs old or younger, it's only $25 a year. The club is open to the public only two days a week, and you have to take a short safety course to even be able to shoot there regardless if you're a member or not($25). You can't use the pistol range if you aren't a member. The manager, let's just say she can be a bit strict at times.
