A couple of weeks ago, I took my Armada to the champion car wash on Pennsylvania and Menaul. After going through the car wash, and after the person who does the wipe down, walked around the car and wiped all the windows off, I pulled over to vacuum. It was then I saw a big pile of bird poop that did not come off.. Certainly the man walking around wiping off my windows and doors would have seen it, but didn't bother to do anything about it. I went back through the line and they gave me a complementary car wash and got it off. Thank you. Today I went back to the same car wash with the same car, and told them there was bird poop on the rear of the car. Again after going to the car wash and having the man walk around dry off my windows, etc., there was still a big pile of bird poop on the car, which I did not notice until I got home. I also found a pile of bird poop on the front The service at the car wash is so limited. You think they could give us good service with the one or two people you interact with. Obviously not. The new manager that you in my opinion is not a good asset to this company. When you turn a member around because their card had just expired and he wouldn't let you through the line that's not cool. He doesn't smile and you're supposed to give at least one card between cars manager is sending them one right after the other if there's an accident there's gonna be that's not good. Against my better judgement I stopped here. Car was left dirty, especially the front and windows. Then the towels provided were left in the sun so they dried out quickly. Unable to use towels to clean the car they were so dry. Poor value for the $25 spent. Better service in town at other Champion car washes! read more

Even I bought a new car. So I guess I would have to get a new licence plate just to get promotion that is currently offered. Super friendly and helpful staff! They made sure we got the package that worked best for us and were very friendly made sure we got in ok and at the end waited by the car to hand wipe all the windows dry so they wouldn't streak. Looked amazing!! Car wash was great too with gree vacuuming and towels and air hose to dry if you want to. Would definitely go again! read more

Car wash is good, for the most part the staff is very kind and friendly! Yesterday however there were 2 young men not very nice and with a little attitude. One thing I cannot understand is why do I have to leave a tip when a machine does the work and I have to vacuum?? Its been asked if I want to leave a tip for the team?? The prices have gone up 3 times since they opened!!! Cant the carwash increase their salaries as well? Due to attitude I chose a $2. Dollar tip and they guy gave me a nasty look the other went off to the car entry and with attitude barely pre sprayed giving a nasty look!!! In my opinion but the carwash can do what ever is they need to stop this tip thing and pay them a little better perhaps before you start loosing customers?? I after yesterday I dont feel I want to go back. A customer should not feel much less be obligated to add tips for a machine. read more

This rating is for the Champion Car Wash on Central between Eubank and Elizabeth. Its horrible. I just moved to this area and noticed that it was smaller than their other stores but figured it would be the same. I was so wrong. They had very few employees, the girl that helped me at the check in was a sweetheart but the guys at the start of the wash kept yelling at me to put the car in neutral and stay off the brake, it was in neutral and I wasn't on the brake but they wouldn't stop yelling until I yelled back "It is and I'm not!" once I got out of the wash there was no one there to dry off my car. There was only a handful of vacuums and there was no mat cleaner or high air pressure hose. The sweet girl that helped me at the cashier gave me some towel. What pisses me off the most is that I paid full price as the other Champion Washes yet got less than half the options. I'll still go to Champions but I'll stay far away from the one on Central. Everything starts as too good to be true. The original price for unlimited washes was a good deal. We even added a second car. But now they are raising prices again. The price increase to cover 2 cars vs the quality of wash does not add up. They now have a monopoly on ABQ quick car washes. In my opinion not worth the money for what you get. I'll have to go back to the coin wash for a couple months until they finish their intro to business supply and demand class. Hopefully they lower their cost to a reasonable rate. So the youngster who came to "show me how" to work the thing said "it won't take it because you already have a membership at the other store". Well that's news to me I says. I have a membership champion takes my money every month anyway I pull up arm does not go up attendent comes over ask if I have a membership I say yes he said it was canceled. Ok I told attendent I would pull of to the side and call the office because I figured he didn'tknow what he was doing. I call no answer I called 20 times left a message and they request you text them as I did no response maybe time to try Mister Carwash. Champion has disappointed me before. I come here for the free vacuums, as I don't really wash my car much, but I really enjoy this location. It's usually an easy way for me to clean my car the they also provide clean microfiber cloths to borrow. So far I've interacted with Nathaniel and he was training and made a good example of customer service my asking me questions about my experience. I had a monthly subscription with Champion for over a year and loved it. Easy access with the free vacuums. Low hassle. I cancelled it due to budget constraints last November. I continued to be charged. I went in to get this resolved and turns out a second account was opened under my name and credit card without my permission on a vehicle with a license plate I am not connected to in any way. They had been double charging for months far enough apart in the month that I did not notice. I tried to get my money back and was told they could not process that large of a refund on site and to email the customer service team. I did so and received no answer or assistance whatsoever. I finally just disputed directly with my bank. Champion has it in their system that subscription holders are physically present every time a charge is made. This is fraudulent and dishonest. As a result of this, I had to have an entire fraud report done and a new card issued. This hassle is unacceptable and I will never give them my business or financial info ever again. I tried to connect to anyone via text and over the phone but cannot get a hold of anyone to cancel this account. I'm being charged $20 a month for one car wash that I went to months ago. I tried these guys for several months on a few of my vehicles, via a promo offered- then tried to cancel. BEWARE!!! Several months later I happened to check my CC statement and found NUMEROUS double billing for different amounts monthly. Called and left several VM's - zero response, so i emailed. They told me "we have no record of ever having any account" - after several back-and-forths where they actually sent me license plat #'s, names, addresses, phone #'s etc for SEVERAL CUSTOMERS, each of which they claimed "might have been my account" I just gave up dealing with them and pursued refunds via my CC issuer. The claim to "run their business like a church" - but were extremely poor communicators nd down-right rude. I paid and signed up for an unlimited carwash membership, however I have not been able to use it as the machines do not recognize me as a member no matter what entrance (3) I try to go through. I spoke to the manager and he said he was too busy to help me since he was the only one there. I have had other memberships at other carwash facilities and have never had problems. I like Champion Xpress Carwash although I used to love it when they furnished nice large clean towels to wipe off the inside and outside of the car. They now have small rags that just don't do the same job as the rags they discontinued. When I stopped by yesterday on the way home from work all the clean rags were gone so I had to take some dirty rags out of the bin to wipe off my windows. Needless to say, all my windows were streaked and I had to wipe them down again with windex to get the streaks out when I arrived home. Even the small rags that Xpress Carwash employees now now use when you drive out of the carwash are small and dirty. My husband washed his car yesterday and his windows were streaked when he left. He had to wipe down all his windows with windex and a clean rag when he arrived home. I wish they would bring the old rags back, or at least make sure they have enough little rags and that they are clean. Very unhappy with the rag situation. read more

As far as the wash goes, it was okay. Not as good as the one I used to go to. As I still had bugs and gunk on my car afterwards. For the price I'll go elsewhere. The biggest issue for me was the layout. It is set up so that while they were wiping down the windows on the vehicle in front of me the machine was pushing me towards that vehicle. I had to hold the brake down firmly while the machine tried to force me forward. If I hadn't, I would have rear ended the vehicle in front of me. Meanwhile, I was concerned that the car behind me was going to rear end me as they were being pushed through. This is unacceptable to me and I will not risk this happening again. As a previous reviewer states, they have a big liability sign before you enter, one of the stipulations is that they are not liable for cars older than 5 years old. This place has really gone downhill. The last few times I've been there, there seems to be a lot of soap left on my car, there has been no one to wipe the cars down at the end of the wash, the equipment in the vacuum bays is either missing or not working. My bay today was missing the vacuum and so was the bay next to mine. The compressed air was missing from my bay. The bay next door had the compressed air but the gun was missing the tip. If you aren't going to keep the equipment in good working order, just don't offer it and lower your prices. read more

Second visit to Champion Xpress Car Wash. This time I bought some glass cleaner and a few towels with me. For $16.00 less that Mr. Monopoly, I think it's a deal. Sure, I had to put in some elbow grease, but well worth it to get a truly clean car. Like cleaning the house, I know where the dirt hides. I really like they offer compressed air for blowing out rear view mirrors. Nothing like drips on your doors as soon as you get home. Second visit and still can't figure out the payment system. I garage my car, so only need a wash maybe once a month. The payment system is set up to sell unlimited passes and difficult to just buy a single wash. Thankfully, management realizes this and has someone stationed near by to help. Give 'em a try! read more

My first time there the young woman told me that they had a deal where I pay 20.00 because they had recently opened and I got up to 4 washes free for a month, I agreed and nothing else was said. Now I notice every month I am charged on my CC 37.76 dollars twice for two cars even when I do not wash my cars. I'm sure if I were to notify the DA's office they would consider this an act of theft, just like you would if the shoe were on the other foot. I will not recommend your place to anyone read more
