History

Established in 2004.

Champions kickboxing club was started in August 2004. It was started by Thomas Kristiansen with the help of Niklas Johansson. The club is in the old clubhouse of Fyllingen på varden. The Gym is newly renovated and built for martial arts. We have boxingring and tatami floor. The main goal was to offer kickboxing in Fyllingsdalen. We want to offer different types of training so that we can best meet the needs of beginners as well as competitors. Cheif instructor and club leader Thomas Kristiansen (19.07.75) has been training full-kicboxing since 1989. He started competitions already in 1990 and was active until he said from his professional World Cup title in August 2004, after defending the five years . He has also been world champion as an amateur and has won a series of world cups, Nordic championship and Norwegian championship.

Meet the Manager: Thomas Kristiansen T.

Chief instructor and club leader, Thomas Kristiansen (19.07.75), has been training full-kicboxing since 1989. He started competitions already in 1990 and was active until he resigned from his professional World Cup title in August 2004 after defending it for five years. He has also been world champion as an amateur and has won a number of world cups, Nordic Championships and Norway Championship. He has been teaching kickboxing since 1990 and has gained a solid fitness skills after four years at the sports gymnasium, through his own experience as an instructor, a different instructor course and, not least, as an active athlete. Based on all his ballast he is a highly sought after instructor and often holds seminars at home and abroad.
