I arrived a couple of minutes early and Laura was finishing up a man's haircut. He and his buddy were finishing up (complimentary) beer. They appeared to really enjoy the place. Laura did a hot neck shave when she finished the gentleman's cut - apparently that is included with all men's cuts. The place is very cool. The decor is super retro, but not junky at all. The chairs are huge and comfortable. This is a barber shop, but she does offer other services, too. I went in for a color and cut. I showed Laura pictures of what I was hoping for, acknowledging that my hair wasn't quite the length or color of the girl in the photos I asked Laura her thoughts on doing something similar. She didn't even hesitate and was very confident. Laura is easy to chat with and super laid back. When Laura finished with my hair I was VERY pleased with the results. She clearly listened to what I wanted and was able to make it a reality. I was very pleased with the service and the price - I'll definitely return. **note that this is a tattoo and barber shop, but as of time of writing, there is not currently a tattoo artist there**

He showed the stylist a reference photo of what he wanted, and the stylist responded by saying something along the lines of, "That's a $300 haircut. I'm a $4 stylist." That alone should have been the warning sign. The haircut turned out so poorly that we had to take him somewhere else afterward to get it fixed. My beard trim was also noticeably messed up. This wasn't a matter of being picky or expecting a high-end salon result--it was basic haircut quality and basic customer service. The bigger issue is what happened after. I contacted Sport Clips customer support, who said they forwarded the complaint to the independently owned franchise location. I waited roughly a month and heard nothing. I followed up again, and customer support again said they would forward it to the owner and ask them to contact me ASAP. Still nothing. So at this point, the issue is no longer just a bad haircut. It is a bad haircut, an unprofessional comment made to a kid, a beard trim that was messed up, and a franchise owner who apparently cannot be bothered to respond to a legitimate customer complaint after multiple attempts through corporate support. Mistakes happen. Bad haircuts happen. But ignoring a customer for weeks after the company itself says the owner will follow up is unacceptable. I would strongly recommend avoiding this location, especially for kids' cuts.
