We loved the school at first. Once my daughter got just a little bit further into Elementary, we were weighed down with an insane amount of work and expectations. They also care more about how they do on standardized testing than other benefits they may be receiving from getting a private Christian education. My daughter is starting her second year at Chapel Hill Christian School. We really enjoyed the first year. The academics are rigorous, yet age appropriate. Her teachers were caring and always accessible. It is an awesome value in terms of tuition costs. Her teachers are experienced educators and students take several enrichment classes. Overall, I am pretty happy with Chapel Hill Christian School. As far as our experience, they have been focused on academics to a fault (Maybe a little much at times). The environment has been loving and caring. My student and our family has enjoyed some great experiences and opportunities so far that dare I say may be unable to be rivaled or matched elsewhere. You have your pros and cons anywhere, and no place is perfect. With that said, I think Chapel Hill Christian School has something truly special to offer. They could benefit by trying to more closely align academics with developmental appropriateness. Expectations are sometimes higher than grade level from our own experience. read more

Please beware of this school. My son went to Chapel Hill Christian Academy from 2018- Jan 2019. Now you may ask why such a short time. The school was horrible. I could waste my time, as this school did, writing a long drown out review. Let's just say if you want a gossiping, more focused on Christmas programs/plays then school work, failing for the sake of failing, non communicating school, then this is the place for you. Mrs. Brown will like you until you have a problem with anything she's done , and ultimately seems to not like teaching. I've never had a teacher not speak or make me feel so unwelcomed as she did. Courtney Ballance is the math teacher, former cop, that will not listen to your concerns in regard to your child retaining information and just continue to fail and test them. Also, she's fond of gossiping to her coworkers. And finally a principal that allows the teachers to run the school. If I could do it all over again I would have never enrolled my child into this school! Lesson learned. read more
