Chappell's took care of my Subaru after I hit a deer and damaged the light, grill, bumper, and side panels. Prompt service (repairs complete in three days) and quality work. Don't get your car repaired here. I took my car here after I got into an accident and needed it done ASAP. They said it would take 4 days once they received all the parts. I thought "fair enough, that seems reasonable". The problem was, they did not do a thorough examination of the car and kept needing to order parts that were on backorder. The timeline kept getting pushed back further and further because they were missing a part they didn't know they needed or they RAN OVER THE FENDER THAT THEY WERE GOING TO PUT ON MY CAR. It was extremely frustrating to have to deal with all of this, and no apologies were given. I even got told to "relax" on the phone when I was simply asking questions about my car and the repairs it needed. In the end, I got my car back weeks later than they said it would be done without it being completely fixed because I needed my car. I am from out of state and needed to drive home. With how slow they were working, I'm sure it would've been another month before I got my car back (They had my car for over a month and a half). The receptionist was very kind, the work was well done, but the communication was terrible. I have never been treated so poorly as a customer. read more

In past six months I have had to get two cars repaired...dents removed and paint. On the first car repair/repaint, I chose Chappell's because the were local to Livingston. Turns out, I chose well. The car looked like new and there were no signs of the repair. Flawless execution and attention to detail. Roll the clock forward a few months and a shopping cart flew into the side of my wife's truck. Of course we decided to use Chappell's and again the execution was flawless. It looks like new...you couldn't find the repair if you tried. About price...they are absolutely reasonable. On the first car, I did not shop around because the price was so reasonable. On the truck, there was no need to shop around as their work quality was proven and again the price was very reasonable. About service...everyone from the front desk to the owner is friendly, helpful and genuinely interested in making you happy with their service. They are top tier all around.
