This was an initial stop on a winery excursion from Paris. It was a country store (magasin…read morefermier), a cheese factory (formagerie) and farm, all for the purpose of making and selling cheese. We were able to see the cheese-making process and taste the final product. In the store was a wide array of other local farm products. Next door we could see the goats and a little more of the process. It was a pleasant stop and very informative, not to mention sampling the cheese and being able to buy local farm products. The proprietors do not speak English, so a bi-lingual tour guide would be very helpful.
