GREAT EXPERIENCE! My friend and I both got a gel set done today and they are beautiful. The techs were very accommodating, interacted well, made sure we had whatever we wanted to drink- including adult beverages! I've come here a few times and usually different nail techs there but I'd like to say I have an above average experience usually. MICHAEL is a new tech there and he did my pedicure!!! Great job, attention to detail and gave me a great leg and foot massage that I've SO been needing. I've been going here for close to three years and they never disappoint. Prices are good & cant beat free alcohol while getting my nails done. I actually went to another place that was closer to be for dip and they actually ground my nail down too close and I immediately starting going back. The staff is very experienced and knows what they're doing. Brand new massage chairs are a plus! You can tell they do try very hard to constantly improve their services & the location. I am a loyal customer & they always seem to happy to see me. Went here to get a nail fixed and was rudely waited on. My nails to begin with were thin and long and the nail I got was thick and fat and did not match the nails at all. I even picked out the same color and they somehow added on more polish and made the color completely different. Then I was charged $5 for one nail redo that didn't even match my original nail and beyond that I was just treated so rudely and it made me uncomfortable to be there. Lily saved my nails! I had them done elsewhere and it was not at all what I had in mind. I came to charisma nails and I just asked for a new solid color. Lily saw what I wanted and offered to show me how she could do it better. She did one nail and it was exactly what I had originally wanted! Decided to try it out today since I live close. Pedicure was okay, not much scrubbing on my feet and there are still rough spots. My polish is chipped on every toe, on BOTH feet. Oh, where to begin. I went to go get my nails done with a picture of what I wanted for my 18th birthday. First of all I was moved around multiple times from technician to technician. Then, the "artist" in charge of my nails chooses to blatantly insult art majors, expressing his belief on my future lack of success, which I had said I was planning on doing. He proceeds to discuss with me his college experience, concluding with the fact that he hated his philosophy teacher that made them argue about abortion, giving me his stance. Next, the acrylic powder that I asked for was light pink, but instead my nails came out marbled white and hot pink. also, i asked for more than one chrome powder layer, which was literally denied. I got a full set, with plain nails and glitter and a basic pedicure. My total came out to $105, which when said out loud, the other nail artist near me scoffed, and they started laughing. They explained to me that the full set for plain nails with no design is 55 dollars, and the glitter that I asked for on top, which one can literally find online for 2 dollars, was a whopping $20. I expressed my disgust with my service by questioning the prices, however, I left paying $105 for nails that literally look like stick ons. To top it all off, when my nail tips were glued on, a couple of them got stuck to my skin. in order to fix this, my technician used a nail drill on my skin in order to sever the skin from nail. obviously, this caused me a lot of pain, even a day later, as some of my skin has been literally ripped off... read more

First time using this salon and definitely my last. I wanted a relaxing mani/pedi, but this place was not relaxing at all! For starters, there is tranquil music playing in the background, but they also had law and order playing loudly on one tv and the news playing loudly on another. Service was slow, as it's a holiday weekend and they had a total of 5 people working and trying to multi task. My manicurist was nice, but after my pedicure he went out for a smoke break and came back to work on my nails without even washing his hands. The smell of smoke lingering on him was quite unpleasant. To wrap things up, I was given no type of hand massage.. just sent on my way with dried out hands. The mani/pedi looks ok, but wasn't worth my time or money. read more

i went last monday for a shellac manicure, it not being my first time but a different nail tech i was expecting the same great service as the times before. since i walked into the door the man doing my nails was in a hurry and did a horrible job. seeing all the work he had behind me i decided to wait to ask him to fix the mess he made of my nails for the next day, when i went back they just made them worse. not once in my 4 years of getting shellac have they chipped and two days after, they began chipping. total waste of money. read more

I was out of town and in need of a quick manicure and pedicure. They were able to fit me in, and Maddy did a wonderful job on my nails, giving me exactly what I needed in a small amount of time. The only reason for the four stars instead of five is that the shop itself could use some sprucing up. But it sounded like they were new owners of an existing shop, so that will come in time. If you are local, I would give this place a try. The owners seem to really care about the business. read more

I don't normally post reviews but this was a really bad experience. I didn't get the name of the woman I had but she was wearing a gold chain necklace with a green pendant of a religious figure (I'm not sure which one). When she was taking up my previous acrylic she kept the e-file on for too long and burned the tops of my nails, she kept grazing the skin around my nails with the regular file, and at the end when she was cleaning up the acrylic she tried to trim my cuticles at the same time and ended up giving me several cuts around that area. I did in fact tell her all the while that it was burning and said "ow" whenever she hurt me, but that didn't make her any more careful. I paid and left but my fingers were still burning so I went inside to complain and they just put some stuff on my cuts so that the bacteria doesn't cause an infection, and then another woman told her not to try to cut cuticles anymore because it hurts people. I did not get my money back and I do not ever plan on coming back here again. read more
