Use with caution. I won sporting event tickets. I was told to reach out which I did, and at first all was ok. Then the follow ups I was getting emails bounced back and no responses. Finally had no choice but to dispute the charge and suddenly they reached out to me and tried to make me feel bad because they messed up. CharityBuzz is an extremely unethical company and has zero customer service. I won a charity auction donated by Oceana.org and featuring Blancpain watches and after charging $55,000 to my credit card they then informed me that the charity auction listing had been inaccurate and they were unable to give me the watches as promised. They then sic'ed their lawyers on me when I complained that the error was on their end and expected them to uphold their end of the contract. Not so much as an admission of error or an apology. Just rude. Terrible service. Sloppy execution of details. They don't vet donor items to make sure they are real. Totally unreliable. Do not put your money at risk by bidding on items you may likely never receive or never existed in the first place. read more

DO NOT use Charity Buzz! This company and the people that work there are deceptive and unethical. I bought VIP Field-Level Suite & On-Field Access to a recent football game for my husband as a birthday gift and to cheer him up with his cancer diagnosis. We arrived two hours early but there were no seats available to view the FIELD. Only four seats were provided for 10 people crammed in the corner so we had to sit in the back where our view was obscured by the low ceiling and numerous distractions on the field. They should have listed these tickets as "obstructed view". We also didn't get the On-Field Access!! I was given a contact name (John Hines) and phone number for day of event but he never responded! Since we got HALF of what I paid for, I contacted Charity Buzz the next and they offered to refund the Buyer's Premium only (a charge they don't tell about until you purchase). Worse, is that John Hines said we never contacted him the day of the event. I sent the screenshot to show them he was lying and got no response. I should have received HALF of my money back since I received HALF of my auction item. Buyer beware! read more

Review Title: Misleading Advertisement - Poor Quality Necklace and Bracelet I purchased this necklace and bracelet from Charitybuzz because the product description made it seem like a high-quality piece. It was advertised as " Diamonds" not lab diamonds and They advertise the items over $50,000," A tennis necklace at $35,000 A "diamond" necklace at $24,000 but after taking to a few Jewelers, came to find out it was not that expensive. That the diamonds were Clearly lab. it is not what they they claimed. The pictures also made it look much more elegant and well-made, but in person, it feels cheap and flimsy. For the price, I expected something much better. Spoke to a person via email Scott Lomando, who kept telling they can't do anything about it. They inflate their products to get high price. They also have bots to try and push the price up on you. Horrible what they are doing and supposedly for charity. This company should be investigated. This was very disappointing, and I feel like the company misrepresented the product. I would not recommend buying unless they are more honest about the materials and quality. read more

When asked where it was, they said it was a new charity and they hadn't received the item, why are you auctioning off items you do not have in your possession. I've been using their services since 2012 or so.. They've always been very, very professional and never once disappointed. I have no idea about some negative reviews but all I can say is at times things can get complicated and it's not always the company's sole fault or incompetence. Athletes should not use Charity Buzz to sell their items for charity. Charity Buzz charges crazy high shipping prices to ship items won. Bidders are starting to figure this out and won't bid on items, therefore not much money is being raised for charity. I bought a baseball bat for charity with a winning bid of $150. I was the only bidder. Charity Buzz charged a $30 hammer fee and then a $90 fee to ship the item. So, $150 for the item and then $120 in fees. Charity Buzz is a rip off, bidders are figuring this out and not much money is being raised for charity. I let the athlete know this, who donated his items to Charity Buzz. read more

I was bidding a an item And actually i was the highest bitter, Scott reaches out to me and tells me I am not registered, They had my credit card information and all my email information, As far as I know I won. They tell me it went up to another Bitter, But I was the highest bitter, And then they keep adding time when the auctions over on the clock up to thirty minutes. Do NOT PURCHASE anything from this company. I bid on an item that had a "COA". After researching the COA issuer I found that they are a fraudulent company and reputable companies that authenticate autographs will not certify their items. The person I spoke to in Customer Service said that I would not be charged for the item and it was removed from their website as far as I could tell. Then I was charged for it. After speaking to them and requesting they cancel my bid and they agreed. I am working with my bank now dispute the charge. This company is a scam. Do your research. Dont give them your cc info. Dont bid., Dont buy. RUN AWAY. I will be contacting my states attorney general if the bank dispute doesnt resolve this. read more

This company totally flopped. This was our first time using them for our Non-Profit and they never delivered on what they signed to do. We sold multiple trips and items to raise funds for this non-profit and the company never gave the people their trips or even gave us our portion. They sent me a link to redeem my package and sign up for a consult date. When I clicked on the link, the screen said that my redemption token had expired.
