I got the regular hamburger and wow... there are no words. A classic burger done right. Crisp bun, juicy patty, stuffed with all the essentials (ketchup, shredded lettuce, tomato, and pickles). There's about a million options available between the menu board and wall full of specials, so it can get a little overwhelming, but you really can't go wrong. Decided to make a more concerted effort to check out Travis Avenue Baptist Church. Last Sunday, I attended the Contemporary Service in what they call "The Great Room". This wasn't my first time; however, I was a little more open to what the church had to offer. The age mix was fantastic! Communion was also offered. Tomorrow, I plan on checking out their Wednesday night Bible study and dinner. I'm looking forward to getting plugged in. Of course, I realize there is no perfect church, and I am far from perfect as well. Please check out this church. They believe in and preach from the Holy Bible.

A guy came out with a cane would not allow me in the church and told me basically to figure it out the last time I was there it was great. I talked to pastor. He gave me a Bible, but this guy with the cane was so rude and evil made me never want to go to another church ever again and this is my first time at a Christian church, but in the Bible, God does say come as you are and this guy was so rude and evil. It was insane. I will never return. I wasn't rowdy or anything like that. He was just an asshole.

The MC's meet together AFTER the message so that they can apply what scripture and the message is giving us to be more Christ like (being discipled).The MC's also serve in our community as well as our church, together, building close relationships. If you would like to be discipled and build a relationship with Christ as well as other people walking through life together, come visit. You won't be disappointed. But come at 9:00 to worship and hear the message.
