Mark Davis is the proverbial overpromise, underdeliver type of attorney. That is, he will tell you everything you want to hear to get you to deposit a retainer and after that it is a roll of the dice. I have observed Mark convince clients that they did not need expert witnesses to win their case when Mark had no experience in that area of law to know if an expert was needed just so Mark could increase his profits. This is a breach of an attorney's duties to his client and I reported this violation. I have also observed Mark promise to perform certain actions in order to 'sell' a potential client on the need for legal services and then not perform on his promises. What made it worse was that on five separate occasions I requested Mark to authorize me to perform the action for the client, so the client was not left hanging and Mark denied me authorization each and every time just to retain more of the profits. Finally, I have observed Mark take cases he had no experience in and lose the case before it even had a chance to go to a trial (summary judgment) because he had no understanding of that area of law. Now its not entirely uncommon for an attorney to lose on summary judgment, but it becomes a problem when the reason they lost is because they were unprepared, lacked knowledge of the law and wrote poor briefs to the court. To use the words fraud and crook would be cruel, but what I will say is that you should only retain the services of Mark Davis if you have no other option. Solo practices have advantages as long as the attorney is disciplined, but this attorney is a clear example as to why having partners to keep you accountable for your actions is necessary in this type of profession. Please be careful if you are considering retaining the services of Mark Davis.

Bruce and his staff are life savers and were there for me and my family throughout the most…read moredifficult years of our lives. We were hit by a drunk driver and all 4 people in my car got hurt bad. The idiot person that hit us did not have insurance and our insurance company said we could not even get the medical bills paid. My husband called Bruce Boerst and he immediately met with us and even called the insurance company during our first meeting while we were still sitting in his office. He started working before our first meeting was even over! During that one call...Bruce demanded that our ins co send him a full copy of the policy. Bruce took one look at it and called the insurance company back. In that 30 min, Bruce made the insurance company agree to cover our losses. The money for the kids is in safekeeping and will be a LOT of money available for our kids for future medical bills if they need therapy in the future. If not, that money for our kids will be able to pay for their colleges! Thank GOD several of my friends and all the people that my husband works with said "CALL BRUCE BOERST"" !!! Before hiringBruce we thought we would lose everything because a drunk guy was driving like a moron and made us almost lose everything. Bruce fought for us like we were his only clients. I did get frustrated sometimes because bruce is busy a lot and sometimes he could not return my calls for a day or 2 but every time when I did talk to him he would help put me at ease and I realize that he is really busy. I guess a really good lawyer SHOULD be busy! We laughed and my husband said that any lawyer that is NOT busy is a lawyer that probably doesn't have any other clients and probably is not too good.
