grilled chicken on a bed of shredded cabbage

Newest location of the chain, and one would think NEW = BETTER... THINK AGAIN!! Dined in on a Saturday evening, place was pretty empty as I later realized people chose take-out for a reason. Service: TRAIN YOUR STAFF BETTER and IMPROVE MANAGEMENT! STRIKE 1- For us who weren't familiar with Indian cuisine, of course lots of questions arise and would like an explanation on what's in the dish to determine what to order. The person who took our order told us straight up that he could only take down our orders but not sure what's in the dishes as he only started 3 days prior. NOT AN EXCUSE! STRIKE 2- When we wanted to order something on the weekend special column, we were told none were being offered at the moment. SHOULDN'T YOU CHANGE IT ON THE MENU IF NONE WERE BEING OFFERED?! WHY FUDGING BOTHER LISTING IT ON YOUR MENU?!?!?! Also, we wanted to ordered dosa as appetizer and guess what... NOT AVAILABLE! STRIKE 3- When we asked for a to-go box for the goat curry, he brought out a small plastic box and apologized that they only have those small sizes. Which was fine, but when you saw the curry was barely touched and still full, wouldn't you have brought out 2 SMALL plastic boxes rather than only 1? - For those who are familiar with baseball terms, those strikes can already tell you whether I'm coming back or not.

Asked for a menu and was directed to use their QR code menu. Ordered their goat biryani combo which shows $11.99 but was charged $16.94. Their prices on the menu do not match what they actually charge so be careful and you might want to dodge this scam.

Been here twice and both times the staff were very rude, unprofessional, and the service was extremely slow. Two very poor experiences.

very poor service for take out. A simple goat briyani was not ready despite ordering more than half hour ago.

While I was there, they had a grand opening special for $8. This included your choice of base (garlic rice noodles, salad greens, or seasoned rice), 2 sides, and choice of 1 protein/entree. The sides, which included choices such as chickpea salad, kale ceasar, spicy eggplant, and broccoli pakora, looked fresh and were replenished often. The entrees included spicy beef vindaloo, butter chicken, and railway goat curry. Some vegetarian options were also available. The food was packaged into cardboard boxes (yay for less plastic in landfills!). My husband complained that his portion size for the beef vindaloo was on the smaller side, whereas I found portions for butter chicken to be fairly reasonable. There was certainly plenty of food. I was very happy to have come across this place in the food court, and it is a welcome addition. I thought $8 was a very good deal for the amount of food but I'm not sure how much my meal would cost outside of the special pricing for the grand opening. Nonetheless I would definitely consider adding Good Karma this to my rotation for go-to restaurants at the mall.

Great concept, especially in a food court filled with greasy fast food. It feels like a salad bar…read more One thing I found a bit disappointing is the hot main options weren't hot, more so room temperature. Otherwise great service and great flavours.
