For about the past 6 years I have had the good fortune to be attended to by an excellent lady dentist who is both professional and friendly and who is particularly good with children. The lady on reception has worked there since before I first attended and she too has a extremely friendly and professional manner. Anyone who feels afraid of seeing a dentist should definately try this practice as they are unlikely to find anywhere else with such a reassuring approach

The building itself is accessible and bright and very well maintained. All the staff are friendly and can't help enough. The dentists are fantastic. We have had bad experiences with some dentists before but Shrik and Lina are wonderful. They put your mind at ease, are gentle, caring and thorough. They are the absolute best with the children. Explaining everything they are doing in a really child-friendly way. If you are new to the area or looking for a new dentist, particularly if you have children or are nervous then this dentist practise couldn't be bettered.

I've never experienced or heard of such an extensive consultation as the one that my mum was given in the first appointment- the dentist not only cares about dental decay and obvious problems in the mouth but also asks if patients are happy with their smile, whether they suffer from headaches (and whether they could be linked to teeth problems), gave lots of explanations none of which was rushed (so unlike everything she experienced!)! She was then sent a report that listed all her options such that she could freely make up her mind, lots of brochures, and was told she could call any time if she had a question on any of those - wow. I was similarly impressed when she came back to do the treatment- Eamonn and Isabella have a great synergy and while being efficient they were never short of extra explanations or making her comfortable (btw, have you ever been given sunglasses at the dentist so you're not disturbed by the bright light? standard in this practice, havent seen that before). Eamonn made adjustments to the denture as long as it was necessary to fit well. If you are looking for a dentist that takes your well-being serious and does not just look at you like you were a money bag (sadly, both my mum and myself had that with other dental practices), then go here and search no more. Compliments also to the rest of the practice team, each of them is friendly and treated us well.

Dental nurses are very patient and do best to put children at ease. Has small car park at side. Small range of toys and books in waiting area to keep kids occupied. Send reminder before appointment due and try to call on day of appointment. As its an NHS dentist they do seem reluctant to do anything aside from standard NHS work. Don't accept credit cards - so you must pay in cash or cheque. Open on monday evenings, so don't need to take kids out of school.

I have been and they were running so late that they've cancelled my appointment and I've had to go back but not told this until waited 20 min. That all said the actual dentistry is excellent and Raj has sorted out any problems quickly and without pain. Explaining what he was doing all through the process. So I definitely recommend the workmanship and dentistry but not the appointment system.
