Went here for the first time earlier, and was greeted with the friendliest GP I've ever come across.

The clinic is clean, calm and well organised and the appointments always run smoothly. Harriet actually listens, which is rare these days. I've never felt rushed or dismissed. With my fear of needles she did a fantastic job with my travel vaccines. If you want a GP who genuinely gives a damn, this is the place. I can't recommend it enough. Plus the luas stops right outside which is handy for appointments during work time

Her english is not the best and when this was explained over the phone the receptionist told us they do not take patients who don't speak English and they do not use google translate. They refused to make her an appointment due to her not being able to speak English well over the phone. The colleague who called speaks perfect English and French and could have easily gone to the appointment with her to help translate but the receptionist did not even attempt to make this option available. I am not sure if this is a racist policy of the GP or practice, or if the receptionist is just particularly bitter but this should not have happened regardless. This is not only illegal but very disappointing as health care should be accessible to all, and the HSE will provide translators if needed. Dublin thrives because of tourism, so to expect everyone to speak English to receive health care is unfair and unrealistic.

Absorbing the second floor of a building just off of Grafton Street's thoroughfare, the medical centre is divided into two areas: regular visits and patients travelling abroad. The rotating staff of very capable GPs are, while fast, working hard to treat you completely. My first visit was with Dr. Emer O'Reilly a great doctor with a brilliant personality. She advised me on my perscriptions, gave me a check up, then sat down to discuss my overall health and well being. Lovely! As for costs there are no bargains to be had, unfortunately. An average appointment will run you €60 -about the same as most Dublin doctors. But, for the money there is a fantastic resource here. I've made sure to recommend this place (and this doctor) to visiting and local friends who may be feeling under the weather and I'm delighted to do the same for you.

The doctors here are pretty good, at least all the ones I had contact with. And even though they know you usually have a GP elsewhere they do try and look after you as fully as possible.

I was in horrible pain for days and went to get it checked. Once again no ultrasound to check if the Mirena is fitted correctly. Then, after 4 weeks of horrible pain, I had to go to emergencies in a different country during a business trip to get it removed. Contacted Well Woman Centre and obviously they are not going to assume any responsibility. There you go, 500€ to the bin. Firstly the problem is that these 'doctors' are unable to diagnose and just prescribe things without really investigation or listening to you. They take no time to listen to you and take a good look or try to get to understand their patient better. They think because some test has come back as negative that then means you are OK even though you continue having some symptoms. They think their job is done and don't event suggest to try and figure out to see what the cause is. Essentially they are afraid of vaginas and the human body. And here they describe themselves as 'gynecologist' whilst they are just female gps. In my last experience I was told to check back with the doctor after she gets back from leave (which meant waiting 3 weeks!) Do not go here!
