So I have been trying to open a business checking account here for a few weeks, but every time I go in no one is available to speak with me and they direct me to make an appointment on the phone. The problem is....I have been calling for a week and no one ever answers - with no option to leave a voicemail. So Chase on Tejon...if you really are out there. Avoid this location like the Plague. Long lines, Tellers who don't even know how much is in a roll of Nickles (wish I was making that up), rude Manager, rude Tellers, etc. There are only ~3 Employees worth being paid to be there and are genuinely good people, Natalie, Ben and I think his name is Rudy (believe he left that Branch). There was another but seems she left during Covid. We've banked at this location since before Chase bought them out. In that time we've pushed tens of Millions through that Branch and they have the nerve to charge our General Manager $8 to cash his Payroll Check, that was printed ON Chase purchased Checks and drawn FROM the same Account he was there depositing our daily totals for the Weekend. Shame isn't a strong enough word for how they treated our Manager. As soon as we're able, we'll be closing all Business dealings with Chase, their loss. read more

Terrible customer service, specifically from Larry Toomey. He made claims that something would be done about an issue in an hour or less, when the issue was not resolved still nearly 24 hours later, he was not willing to help any further and accused me of being argumentative when I was simply stating the facts of what was previously discussed and making inquiries on why things haven't worked thus far. He ended up walking away from me mid conversation. Very poor handling of the situation. read more

If you need to talk to a banker, you'll need an appointment, but appointments can only be made in person. If drop in, they'll tell you that everyone's busy the rest of the day and that you can make an appointment for another day. If you try to call ahead and make an appointment, nobody will answer the phone and their phone system doesn't take messages. It's at least two trips to get things done. read more

I showed him a large stack of money I had driven 45 mins to deposit and was met with a shrug now hoping I don't get met with a slug for the huge pile of cash I now have to carry around for the day... read more

I banked w Chase in NY for years. I opened an account when we moved here but the lack of communication at this branch is forcing me to consider switching to another bank. They do have a greater that says hello and points you toward teller. As if you could not locate the teller on your own once you arrive at the bank. However, in order to see a banker you need to have an appointment bc they are understaffed/booked up. Since no one answer the phones EVER you need to come to bank to make an appt in person. If you need to reschedule appt, again, it needs to be done in person. They need to make some changes. I suggest having greeter answer phones which is way more important then saying: "Hello, welcome to Chase". Because this can actually be helpful and save folks time. read more

Just had a horrible experience with the Chase credit card. Noticed my check hadn't cleared the bank, so wanted to call. Used the # on the back of the card. All I got was an onslaught of "offers" which required me to provide information I didn't want to provide. Repeatedly pushed the "0" and it took a long time and numerous "offers" before I got through to an automated site. And took much longer to actually talk to an agent. Card will be cancelled as soon as I calm down enough to do that. Complete waste of my time. read more

I don't know about Chase Bank as a corporate whole, but this particular branch has some of the nicest bankers and tellers I've ever encountered. I don't hold any accounts with Chase, but I've accompanied my fiancé to this location numerous times on our errands when he's needed to complete transactions downtown. Just yesterday, doors were opened for us upon entry, a greeter asked if we needed anything, and then doors were opened for us as we left. They acted like they actually wanted our business, versus the Wells Fargo down the street (with whom I actually bank) where they sigh and make an issue out of my non-standard requests like they're too busy to help or that I'm a burden. Anyway, the bankers at this Chase helped me get some change out of my bigger bills, and they had no problems with my request of getting smaller bills in near-mint condition as I requested. They dress nicely, too- immaculate-looking professionals who treat us with courtesy. If I hadn't been a long-time customer of WF, I'd probably bank here. At least in person, they appear happy to be at your service! read more

Absolutely horrible, I used to have Bank of America and moving from California to Colorado Springs that bank wasn't an option so I chose Chase and wish to god I never got an account with them, HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!! Every single deposit I've made wether it be cash or check has been put on a multiple day hold or even a hold for 2 WEEKS, my checks are roughly the same amount from the same bank so there is no reason why they should be doing this for after the 30 day period of originally making the account. So inconvenient and there's "nothing" they can do. Please don't ever bank with them choose a different bank, I've had to postpone paying rent because of their ridiculous holds ALL THE DAMN TIME! read more

Never answer the phone - I called over 20 times in one day. Then I called the 800 number and they said they couldn't reach anyone at the branch either because it's the same phone number for them. So basically no one not even Chase employees themselves can reach anyone at this bank. read more

Absolutely horrible bank. They have gotten so big, they do not care about an individual client's experience. I got ripped off on a house repair. Had complete proof the work was faulty and had to be redone. Had my credit card with them for decades, always paying it off every month. And I was a Chase "private client." I tried to dispute the rip-off charge by going through Chase's torturous foreign call center nonsense and user-unfriendly website. They deemed the charges valid with no explanation, no communication. It takes about a half hour to get through to anyone, and then they read off a script that has nothing to do with what I was calling about. They kept having me jump through hoops. But it became very clear they never had any intention of clearing me of the rip-off charge. The local branch manager tried to get help for me from the dispute department but couldn't. The Chase Private Client banker was useless / non-existent. The special Private Client 800 number was also no help at all and just sent me back full circle to the branch manager and the dispute department. I shut down my credit card account and am in the process of moving my funds out of Chase and into other banks. I'm done with Chase, and they could care less. The worse local bank is a thousand times better than Chase. read more

I opened an account here a couple of months ago and I can say without a doubt that this is the best bank I have ever dealt with. Very down to earth and friendly staff plus I have never had to wait in line more than a few minutes. And Ms. Bible was very helpful and thorough with my account set even though I didn't have an appointment. I also find the Chase App to be the easiest app I've ever used.
