She helped me solve a problem that I had been trying to fix for over 15 years--something that several other branches had never been able to resolve. From the very first phone call, Cindy was kind, patient, and truly invested in helping me. She took the time to listen, understood exactly what needed to be done, and invited me to come in so we could take care of everything in person. Sure enough, she delivered! Iwona the teller was really unpleasant and rude today while I tried to exchange some euros. Very unprofessional does not ask how'd you like the Denominations of the currency while I overheard her colleague ask the customer she was helping me. Once she handing me the currency she proceeds to say absolutely nothing to give me the assumption that there's not further action. Upon asking she then says "yes, all done". There is zero professionalism on her end and would expect a better customer service at chase. Hope she can work on her communication and professionalism. read more

Their ATMs, which are outside of the branch only let you withdraw $100 at a time. nothing less than that. that's really outrageous. Chase bank has the worst hours and the worst ATMs in all of Chicago and greater land area. read more

I just so happen to have to go to Chase's competitors earlier in the day, so I am able to compare services. When I walked in the door I was greeted only by the security guard who smiled and said hello. Other than that the bankers the tellers looked at me with disdain to the point that it made me feel I wasn't supposed to be there even though I was making a deposit, a large deposit for me. But perhaps they are used to customers who are depositing thousands upon thousands of dollars and making mega transactions and business. I won't be returning I don't need to go to that particular branch to be made to feel that I'm nothing. Even after my transaction I didn't even receive a thank you. There was no hello from the teller and no exit greeting. I'm so sorry I bothered you. read more

This is the best bank branch evarrr. I never once felt like jabbing someone or something with a tethered pen! Go through the revolving doors and into the branch and the customer service manager --name withheld-- is ready to greet you. She solved my problem in record time. Awesome! We chatted about yoga and New Jersey. Only the strong survive. Everyone I've talked to in this piece is not-depressed, which is so rare for a bank branch. It's big and they are expanding, so they have everything (like safe deposit boxes and whatnot). I think you'll like it. read more

Worst bank ever. So completely rude and unhelpful. Trying to deposit 2 checks ( refunds from Chicago Tribune and Blue Cross/Blue shield total 389 dollars ) into my mom's account made out to my recently deceased father. My mom has thousands of dollars in her account , been a customer for 30 years and finally after much back and forth they did me a curtesy and accepted the deposits . Every time I try and bank on behalf of my 88 year old mother it's a nightmare. Find any bank but this one. read more

I typically hate national banks' local branches. I don't really care for this one either, but the employees here are competent (though this isn't saying anything they're personable or anything). I came here to close up a few accounts and consolidate some of my holdings and they did it without trying to sell me anything. That's all I really ask for of any bank. read more

If you're trying to open up a credit card, don't go here!!! And, especially, don't work with JIA YU. I went to open up a card, sat down at her desk, and even before I tell her why I'm there, she tries to get me to open up a credit card. I told her that that was the reason I visited. I end up opening up a card with her, but as she's filling out the form on the screen, she keeps trying to get me to sign up for other chase services. I don't bother with the other stuff, finish the process, and leave. She told me it would arrive in 2-3 days. Few hrs later, she calls me to tell me to come back in to sign a document. Fortunately, I was only a 10 minute walk away at the time. I go back and sign. I obviously not happy. A week later, and I don't have my card yet. Instead of calling the bank, I call the online Chase number. I ask the representative where my card is and he says it is at a different address. I explicitly had told her not to send it anywhere but one specific address. If she had not been so busy trying to sell every other chase product, she might've gotten the signature and the correct address all in one go. If you're going to use this bank after this review, just avoid JIA YU. read more

My wife and I have had an account at this location for a number of years, as well as a home equity line of credit, and have been pleased with their services. They do push their "products," which can be annoying, but the people are polite and professional. There is one improvement that they should implement: Problem: When you call and everyone is busy, they ask you to call back later or to call a telephone banking center (and who knows where that is). Solution: Allow customers to leave a call back number. Also, the recorded telephone banking center number is only provided ONCE. This is not helpful. Either repeat the number, or, even better, add the functionality for customers to replay the message. read more

We have been going here for 7 years and continue to get great service. They have always been very friendly and helpful with a variety of different things from setting up retirement funds, home loan accounts, savings accounts, cds, and best of all, they offer free notarizing so when we need documents notarized, we come here, such as when we had our wills drawn up. read more

I went to several other banks in the area, including Citi, BAML, and US Bank before coming to Chase. After deliberating, I opened my chequing account with Chase because they had a fantastic banker/account manager by the name of Kenny N. As an international student, I had to inquire about a lot more features and considerations than most. He was not only very knowledgeable and experienced, but also extremely patient. Unlike the bankers that I had spoke to at the aforementioned competitor banks, Kenny came across as genuine and sincere. Retail bankers today are under immense pressure by employers to open as many accounts as possible. I could feel this at many other banks, but not during my experience with Kenny at this Chase. Case in point, another bank that I visited the same day gave me blatantly false information to make themselves look more attractive. So I came back another day, and even though I got there near closing time, Kenny still took the time to make sure that I understood all the features of my new account, including walking me through their mobile app. We ended up staying almost half an hour past closing. Will definitely be looking at Chase for account upgrades and other products too. In short, if you're a college student, especially if you're international, go to Chase, and don't believe the other banks in Evanston when they tell you "ask your friends, that all bank with us." Actually ask your friends, most of mine bank with Chase. read more

I've been coming to this bank for the past 2 years and they are awesome. Everyone is always super nice, especially the bank tellers. I always feel welcome and taken care of. I feel like they go out of their way to be friendly. I have both a checking and savings account with them, and I plan on being a customer of this branch for a long time. There are ATMs both inside and outside of the branch, but I prefer to go in for the great service! read more

Great costumer service! My banker was K. H. Nissan he was very friendly, patient and very helpful! He answered all of my question and explained everything in a understandable way! He showed me all of my options to make sure I would have the best offer that met my needs and followed up with me after.
