Was charged $1.09. Thought it was high as euro/ dollar were close to parity. So they do charge extra to exchange which is ok if told to customer upfront. Did a little digging. 1.04 at RFCU. I went in to a branch near me last year and was able to get the funds I needed with a personal loan within a few days. I do not know the recent rating of Regions, but at one time they were rated one of the strongest banks in America. One cannot do better than to have their money deposited in this bank. Fact: No bank will freely give out information regarding any account unless you have in hand all the information needed to complete the transaction you are calling about. RFCU could save a lot of money for the members if they closed down the "Insurance" office and laid off all those that allegedly work there. Seems like they don't do anything useful for the members.
