I'd recommend booking an appointment in person or through the phone so that you can get 1 to 1 service in an office. My dad and I had an appointment at 4:30pm and came about 10 minutes early, and the person helping us allowed us into his office. Shoutout to Joe, he was extremely helpful, gave great advice to build credit score, and walked me through each of the steps! He can definitely do so much work within a short amount of time - really great efforts. Overall, this bank and the staff are helpful. There is parking available right out front. This bank is also easily located in the corner of a plaza, so afterwards you can walk around to the shops!

Called back and chose to have someone call me back (wait time was 35 minutes). Nobody called. Called for a third time and waited 20 minutes. Spoke with a nice lady that said I had to drive to a BofA location to activate. Drove to location, move lady said I had to make an appointment with a banker. Soonest available is 5 days away. All of this to activate a credit card. What a joke.

I was pre-approved for a vehicle purchase and relied on that approval when I placed a $15,000 non-refundable deposit on a Porsche 911 over the weekend while the credit union was closed. The following Monday afternoon, unbeknownst to me, the dealership submitted another application to Global Credit Union. Shortly afterward, I was notified that my approval had been withdrawn. At the end of the day, I honestly care less about the car than I do about how this situation was handled. What's most disappointing is that a long-term member and local business owner with nearly 100 employees and approximately $7M in annual revenue was treated with such little communication and respect. Ironically, their management team had recently been pursuing all of my business banking and merchant processing relationships. Yet when a serious issue arose that cost me $15,000, no executive had the professionalism or courage to pick up the phone and explain the decision directly. The branch manager was professional throughout this process, so this review is not directed at him personally. My frustration is with executive leadership and the complete lack of accountability or communication. After 16 years of loyalty, I expected significantly better.

Deposited a $1000 cashiers check from a local credit union into my account on…read more12/23/21. 4 hours later get an email stating that they're putting a hold on the check until 1/3/2022. It's a cashiers check for only $1000 being deposited into an existing account that has never been overdrawn, there is absolutely no reason to put a 12+ day hold on the check. That was $1000 that was meant to go towards Christmas for my family. The fact that they waited 4 hours to even tell me is even worse. You can bet that as soon as that check clears we're going in and closing out our checking, savings, and credit cards with BoA. A bunch of crooks who will do anything and screw over anyone for a buck.
