They make an effort to learn your name and face when you come in. I could work with a teller one time, and the next time I come in they will immediately call me by my first name and start pulling my account up. Interest being paid on my accounts is untouchable by any other financial institution in the area, and I've always been happy with any products I use with them, such as my Genisys Mastercard. I was initially concerned about the lack of branches in the area, but I found that it was more than remedied by their mobile banking (you can do anything on your phone that you can do on your computer), helpful staff, and branch hours that feel more tailored to the working man. Compare that to Advia Credit Union (whom I previously had my account through)- 5 branches in this area, but a mobile banking app that is consistently broken and doesn't do much when it IS working, and drive-thru and ATM lines that are always backed up. Night and day difference. Overall I'm very happy with Genisys, and this branch in Marysville stands out as exceptional compared to the Clinton Township branch.

This bank has a few perks but the staff should be taught to thank the customers for their business and how to smile upon greeting you .

I have never in all my 44 years of dealing with customer service dealt with a group of more…read moreinconsiderate, rude and unsympathetic people in my life. My mother was extremely ill and dying from COPD. I went to the bank to see what could be done to help her cash her disability checks since she was completely unable to do so anymore. Instead of being met with ANYONE from that branch who cared to sit down with me and go over any options, they were extremely rude and basically told me, too bad, my mother would have to come in. I explained she was too ill and could there be anything else I could do and they could have cared less. I eventually ended up getting put on my mother's account. However, each and every time I went to cash her check, they would tell me I couldn't do so because I was not on her account. Every time I had to go through incredible hassle to explain that I was in fact on her account and why couldn't they see that. There were never any apologizes or any concern for my mother. Sadly, my mother recently passed away and when I called them up to see how I could go about closing her account, I was met with yet another rude employee who told me I couldn't, it would have to go to probate. I was on her account, had her death certificate but they only wanted to create more hardships and hassles for me. I didn't realize then but I learned that I didn't have to go to their branch so I went to one closer to my home. There I was met with incredible sympathetic employees who totally went out of their way to help me. Why this branch in Marysville is like this, I have no idea. Also, when I went to put my name on my mother's account, they made me wait over two hours (this is with my infant son with me) to see the manager. No apologizes again, no feeling bad just "YOU HAVE TO WAIT" with rudeness in their tone and that was it. I would rather die a painful death than deal with ANYONE from that branch again. I know for a fact that other people have been treated the same way because during a few of my visits when I voiced my concern over their rudeness, other customers came up to me and said they felt this branch was going downhill as well. Good luck to anyone who has to deal with this branch. And God forbid you have an ill parent that needs your help because you won't get it from this branch! Thanks for reading!
