Today I was told I could complete my transaction because my ID was recently expired. Maha the banker lied to me and said she was unable to input the number because "the system won't allow it". However, I was at chase two days ago and they were able to. Using a lie to cover the fact that you didn't want to help me out is poor business. I was just here today to use their ATM so I could get money to put in the tip jar when picking up my pizza for takeout. And their parking attendant harassed me...as in followed me around the building and waited for me outside the door just so he could yell at me that I only have 15 minutes to park there. He didn't do it to anyone else parking at the bank. I think he picked me because I'm a woman with dark skin. When I called the bank to report, they wanted my account number before they would let me file a complaint against the harasser. How much sense does that make? My mother and I have had a joint "Private Client" account for many years. In the past, we had no problem wiring funds with no charge as one of the perks of this top tier checking account. Recently, Chase refused to allow us to wiring service AT ALL unless we open an online account. I have no need nor any interest in opening one. At the very least, Chase should be charged with false advertising. Being a Private Client now has NO free wiring without being forced to open their online account. Came here today to get into my safe deposit box. First of all now one was here to help. I had to track this dude down to ask him how I can get in there. He said you need to make an appointment. I was pretty heartbroken when Washington Mutual went by the wayside along with all of the other subprime chumps... and I have to admit I was a bit reluctant to let Chase into my life. After all, WaMu was so hip and friendly and had funny commercials and free checking. But after taking some time to warm up to it, this branch of Chase has treated me well, I have to admit. I love that they have a drive-through ATM that's available 24 hours a day so when I have to make late night withdrawals I'm not looking over my shoulder, nervously remembering that famous episode of The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air when Carlton gets mugged at an ATM and is never the same again. Recently my neighborhood location underwent a remodel and now they have a big fancy screen behind the tellers that makes me feel like I'm banking in the future. All in all, Chase does its job and features friendly employees and a pretty user-friendly setup. Going to the bank isn't the most exciting thing in the world, but when you do, it's nice to know you can rely on a place like this. read more

The bank manager came through for me again! There was a problem with my account that cororate created. He helped me proactively stop the issue from getting worse, and got it cleared up. He called me to come in when it was all ready for me to take care of in person so I didn't have to keep checking in. It made my life so much easier during a super stressful situation. Ist vist over 1 hour and no account - this one is my fault as 1 of the trusts was missing a key page. 2nd Visit - this one is Chases fault totally. All info is now correct and after 2 1/2 hours (can't believe I wasted 2 1/2 hours) absolutely no one (5 people) in the branch was able to get the F*****g computer software to accept the info. Not sure if it was a glitch. Got email they have solved the problem. Do I dare to open the account????????? Walked in on a Wednesday to open a business account. I was made aware that because they are short staffed I need to make an appointment. They made an appointment for me on the next Friday at 2 PM. I arrived on Friday, today, for my 2 o'clock appointment only to be told that they would be a 15 to 20 minute wait. After 35 minutes the woman with whom I had an appointment, Brandy, came to me to let me know would be another five minutes. At that point I left. I had scheduled a 2 o'clock appointment and expected it to be done within the hour. Instead I was going to end up waiting almost 45 minutes for an appointment that would take about an hour. All this took place while other employees were standing around chatting about their afternoon massages or their moves out of state. I was just a guest at this branch to retrieve my statements for the previous tax year. I am typically a paperless kind of client because I do everything online. However, I am preparing my taxes and my CPA asked for hard copies. The banker that I spoke with just tried to charge me 75 dollars to retrieve this paperwork. $75!!!!! I asked her what the fee would be if I got my statements in the mail every month, of which she responded, "There would be no fee sir, but you've opted to go paperless, less me having to charge you today." This is a bit engaging and out of line if you ask me! I have been with this bank for years and have multiple accounts and credit cards with them. One service at this branch has been changed to "by appt only" recently, during the outbreak. I went to the branch expecting to acheive something, as they have been doing it. You cannot make an appointment at the branch. They did not notify us, in fact I have no email from chase accounts in 7 weeks. The last one was about ATM receipts I won't be getting anymore. There's a general email at Chase.com for ALL Chase customers for this service now, to make an appointment (not email to the branch). There is no notice about what information to include in the email. So I put my name and the Branch information. There was an auto response with "please include the following information if you did not already." Ok so I added it. Complete again. I got an email back requesting "please include the following information if you did not already." and a DIFFERENT list of more information I needed to send. Just too much for one email. Einstein in charge of this just making it up as they go along. pfff. just an annoyance. This branch doesnt have great ratings maybe i will try a different one. While I realize staffing is an issue everywhere, this has been a chronic problem at this bank since before the pandemic. I had the same experience as Hector T., almost. The staff here is friendly enough and do try their best, however... Dear Chase: Please STOP putting in more ATMs and having less and less actual live tellers and teller windows. Of course you're trying to cut back expenses, but the fact of the matter is that most people do not want to use these ATMs and do want a live teller to process their transactions. Proof in point is when there is a line of six people waiting for one teller and there are two ATMs vacant. Even when the bank staff explains it to the customers, they don't want to use the ATMs. How about this for an idea: Instead of having the bank staff try to sell customers on using the ATMs, why not simply have that/these staff get behind the teller window and handle transactions?? And...you have various staff behind the teller windows doing other things. Certainly, it may not be their function to be a teller, but it does not create a good impression when there are six people in line and you have staff behind the teller window not helping them. As mentioned, the staff is nice but Chase should 'get with the program' and stop pushing ATMs on us. If we wanted an ATM, we would have used the ones outside. read more

As a former Washington Mutual customer, I was not excited that Chase took over, if only because I've never seen a merger that went well. People get fired, the new company has to charge more to make up for its new expenses ... and that sure is the case with this branch. I do not usually go to this branch, and will avoid it as much as I can in the future. The front door is confusing. I wound up walking practically around the block just to find it. And a drive up? Why? What a waste. They need to put more people on the floor. The weather is nice here and people should just get out of their cars to go inside. The parking is easy; easy in, easy out. No excuse or need for a drive up. There are heavy duty bulletproof glass stations. Great. They are making their employees safe. But I could not believe the rude behavior of the teller who helped me today. I stood waiting to be summoned, and finally had to ask "Are you open?" In other locations, there is a sign pointing for you to go - or the teller motions. Not here. I could have stood there forever, and I got the feeling that is exactly what he would have preferred. When I got to the booth, he was chit chatting with a coworker, virtually ignoring me. I asked him the date and he acted as if I asked him about his sex life or something else inappropriate. In fact, he didn't know and had to consult something. How do you work as a teller and not know what day it is? And it gets better. He did everything he could to look elsewhere and avoid direct eye contact with me. I smiled, I was polite. It was like talking to a zombie who was being inconvenienced. Recently, every transaction I make with one of my credit cards seems to take forever to go through. And I keep getting these calls from the "Fraud Prevention Dept." A woman speaking broken English told me that I could do nothing about a pending transaction that I did not authorize. WTF? I politely asked to speak to a supervisor, and she HUNG UP ON ME! Bad, bad service. I plan to call the bank tomorrow and DEMAND to speak with a supervisor. And then I'm complaining to the BBB and other organizations. I want it all on record. read more

I've never had a problem here. I really like the drive thru ATM machines. I was stoked that they got rid of the super slow machines. The new touch screen ones are fast. I was pleased that they did away with deposit envelopes and will scan in checks and even read the amount. Way to keep up with technology, Chase! The MINUTE I walked in, one of the managers, Kevin, greeted me w/a sincere smile & promptly ushered me to the booth wherein two lovely tellers, Brandi & Esmeralda vied for my business which made me feel like VIP/a celebrity-smiles. Just like Kevin, They were BOTH extremely & genuinely friendly! Brandi was both highly efficient & sweeter than a candy cane-then to top THAT off, while I sat down, another manager, Edgar, politely asked & offered me a cup of water! I could give 0 star if I could... I am very disappointed with this business and the bankers. I have been banking with chase for over 3 years. Let me say my whole family banks with chase (mom, sister, brothers and my boyfriend). My mom opened the account on October 2017 because she received a coupon for $300 and she closed her bank from bank of America. She gets direct deposit from government and they banker ( Jessica) told her that she will take care of the direct deposit and send the paper work to switch her bank. After the first month my mom received a statement that she is been charged a fee for boy having direct deposit, she took the statement to the bank and the banker told her and my sister that she took care of it she will waive the fee and heck on her paper work for direct deposit. Second month goes on nothing, third month goes nothing. Mean time the banker told her that she will postpone the coupon, since the coupon is only good for 60days. Finally my mom takes care of the paper work herself after 3_4 months and received her first direct deposit on April 2018. After waiting 3 weeks I visited the bank and the banker to follow up and she said unfortunately there is nothing she can do since it has passed 60 days. I was like wtf????? This is not about the money, it is about the customer experience and the promises industry makes to meet the customer needs. It is very sad and disappointing. My mom decided to close her account and go back to her bank of America. This disgusting experience left a bad taste in my families mouth. After dealing with them for months this is what we get. My family and I decided to close our checking, saving and credit cards. That's about 7+ accounts and customers that chase is going to loose and hopefully more with this review. It's not all about getting new clients, first it's about keeping your existing clients happy. Rule number one.
