Not having a bank nearby has been a challenge only twice in those 15 years and this was one. I needed a cashier's check and had to make a special visit to the area to get it. I was in the door at 8:05 this morning, got my check, and was back on my way within 15 minutes. Awesome service and that includes checking identification and getting the name printed on the check properly. The loan had the make, model, and series of the boat so all the information was available to them so they can check what they need to check before approving the loan. On 12 Aug i received a call fromYesenia Madrigal stating my loan was approved. 13 Aug an email was sent to me requesting my proof of income and a bill of sale from the dealership. I provided both and she received them. Meanwhile we drove 110 miles to the dealership twice making plans for the pickup of the boat. We haven't heard anything from the bank for 4 days so I sent and email asking what was the status of the loan. the response I got was: "After pulling the NADA(value) for the boat we are at a value of $20,020 without trailer since no trailer information was provided on the Bill of Sale.. on Boats we are only able to lend 100% so we can't go above the $20K value". 1st, it took them 3 days to finally contact me with this information, Only after I asked the status. 2nd, who buys a boat without a trailer? 3rd,, they are going off the base price of the boat. Not all the upgrades and extras. Matter of fact I was never asked about the upgrades.NADA values the boat at $37,450. I was mislead when they approved my loan that I did online for $29,000.
