This branch used to be amazing. At any given day I could walk in and know that whatever I went in for was going to be handled quickly and I would be in and out. The staff was always happy and eager to help. Then they installed all the machines and cut the available tellers in half. Every since it's been down hill so much so that I don't even have the time to bank at an establishment like this. Now there's always a line and you get tellers telling you to use the machines. Well I can't make payments, get money orders or perform other transactions necessary to run my business, through some machine. This was a bad move and not helpful in better serving your client's needs. So glad I never put all my eggs in one basket and won't be bringing my other accounts here anytime soon. read more

I understand what the other yelpers are saying about this branch, but I have had good experiences here. I also use the ATM instead of going inside, but when I do go inside, I have a secret...his name is Ben. Ben has opened several accounts for us and he is a life saver. He really makes banking here a joy. He is super attentive and I can email him or call anytime. The location is very convenient for me too and there are 3 ATMs, so minimal wait. Plus Chase has ATMs in Target, CVS and various other sites...convenience is great! read more

I have been a Wamu/ Chase for about 21 years. Their service has definitely declined quite a bit. I reside in LA County but drive to OC frequently. About 2 weeks I called the customer service number inquiring about opening a specific type of account. I was told that this type of account can only be opened in a branch. I drive to the branch and was then told I needed two forms of ID. Wish customer service would've indicated this. The person at the branch was so rude about it too. Today I walked in about 15 minutes prior to closing there were 4 representatives in cubicals, 2 with a consumer and 2 without. We notated our information on their notepad located on their podium. Then 5 minutes prior to closing a tall, middle aged, bald, male calls our name and says they promptly close at 5pm and dismisses us very rudely as well. Then calls over the person on the list prior to us. This location used to be very welcoming and inviting. Clearly there is no respect for my time, since 2 agents could've assisted myself and the guests before us. These people must work hourly wages instead of commission based for opening accounts. Makes me rethink even wanting to open this account. read more

I had problems with ebay and paypal for months and finally went to Chase to try an stop them from excessive automatic billings. It was killing my account. Right off the bat, Cuong Le said let's call them. Within an Hour and a half, he knew more about the problem while we were on hold than ebay did and walked me through a solution. Within 4 hours ebay called me back and answered a completely different item. Again never listened to me. I got good advise, my account is no longer being overdrawn and now i can work it out on my own. It wasn't like help from an Banking associate, or a friend, he was like family with results. Business Account? Don't come to this locations! This is my second times coming to this branch and have to wait for over an hour for the banker to help. As a matter of fact, I am still sitting and waiting to be helped and since I had nothing else to do while waiting, something clicked in my mind to look up on yelp. First time I came to be helped, I got everything set up hoping to solve the problem but a week later found out that it was not properly set up and had to come back today to close the old account and open the new one instead. Really nice bank but the customer service really sucks. I came in to ask for more information on some accounts I wanted to open and I noticed people waiting for agents to help them. Some of the ladies before me got desperate and left. I thought she was just in a hurry and decided to wait. 5 minutes later no one came to check on us and there were 3 agents in a cubicle chatting the whole time. So I then also decided to leave. There was no sign in list or anything. Overall very bad attention to the costumer. read more

I walked in with 40 minutes to close and personal banker stated it would take 45 to an hour. Complained right from the start just because they were closing soon. His name is Conrad Abrillo. I'm giving an update to the review I posted a couple of days ago. I had to go in to the bank and once again I waiting in line however, one of the team members from when Debbie was manager came over and said he would help me. He explained that they are now short handed and that anyone in the cubicles who isn't busy is supposed to help out as a teller. That makes good sense and they (the original crew) is still there providing the kind of customer care that Debbie was famous for. When I saw her at Albertson's (at the tiny Chase Bank there) she never said a negative word about anyone and said she missed her branch with all the wonderful co-workers. While we chatted for a few minutes a former customer came up and upon seeing Debbie started to cry. Her employees miss her and her customers miss her and yes Chase is changing but not all change is good!!!! This is one of my favorite branch. I love the concept that there is awash an adopter in the lobby to direct the traffic. I was there to open the business account. I am happy that the business banker informed me about the time 45-60 minutes to set up and offer me to drop off the documents first and come back later to complete the signing. I appreciate my business banker cares about my business account and open it with the correct procedures. Unlike other bank, chase screens the business first. I am doing good business so I do not care they do screening. Chase actually takes good care of my business not like other bank, BOFA opens business account in 20 minuets and hold my wire funds for a while month. I just found some of the comments interesting. If you think you could walk into a bank and opens a business account just like a personal account without screening, I think other banks will better serve the need. I am serious about my business. I will only place in good hand. So far I am happy! read more

I made new card at the 1st Tustin Branch, Chase in 2013. Before I got the new card, I got back to Japan. I requested a couple of times send again, but they required face to face contact. It is impossible! I am in Japan. I also sent my evidences by postal mail, but they didn't. Then I called international section to headquarter. However, they don't have any my information(My SSN and old card numbers). Unbelievable, what a bad management! I cannot any access. I can guess I got my old card directly (Nothing new registration) when Washington Mutual bankrupted. I guess my data didn't transfer from WM to Chase. What should I do? read more

The only reason I use this location is the convenience of it being close. I went in for a temp card but was unable to get one which was fine with me.. What set me off was being lied to and played for stupid by the banker Daniel. He lied about my card being sent out after waiting for several days so he "rushes" one over to me. Apparently its all about commission and nothing to do with the customer because when my card arrived it was the one Daniel had informed me never went out. Daniel canceled the card that was on its way so HE could send one out to me, of course I didn't know that. So I go use my card and I'm embarrassed when its not authorized because that card is closed. Be careful with what Daniel or any other banker may tell you. read more

I had the pleasure of working at this location, and I miss my branch a lot! Call me biased, but I love WaMu and what it stands for, despite its eventual downfall from grace, but the staff here is wonderful! I felt so loved and cared for here, and of course, there were the memorable and delightful customers, and some that were not...but overall, I think we provided pretty decent service whenever possible, because customer satisfaction was very high on our list of things to do. =) read more

The service here has always been good, but with the current management team (Lulu and Daniel, in particular), it seems better than ever. They've assisted me on a number of occasions lately, as well as other branch employees, and I'm always left with the feeling that friendly and effective customer service is a priority for the branch. My wife went to this Chase location to wire money to the Title company for our new home purchase. She was approached by a guy name Mike from home loan dept. She didn't give much info as she doesn't really know all the details of our loan. 20mins after my wife called me, Mike calls. Wanted to try and do a better deal for me on the home. I said fine and he went to run some numbers and called me back. At this point the comparison in my opinion wasn't enough to sway me from canceling with my current lender to go with chase. He was then very aggressive telling me in so many words that I am wrong in my thinking. First of all you are the one calling me, I didn't call to apply with Mike at chase. Im in the sales business myself and I felt like he was trying to corner me into doing it with him. I am so upset, that I'm really thinking about just canceling my acct there along with all my family members who joined because of me.Thank God I didn't meet him first for my loan, because if that was so I may not even want to buy a house, going thru what I just went thru. read more

Customer service is great however I think their own employees checking customers in should be a little more educated. I came here on a Saturday to notorize some legal documents for social security. The gentleman checking I customers at the front asked me what my visit would be for, and I told him notory. I asked if there was a fee for this service at the bank and he asked if I had an account with Chase and I said yes. He replied there would be no fee since I am a customer. He then gladly put my name down to wait until there was someone available to assist me with. 15 minutes later a very nice employee takes me to her desk and politely tells me their bank does not notorize documents. She kindly referred me to a business available to help me with this down the street. Although the service was great, at the end of the day my time was wasted for pretty much nothing on a Saturday morning. place is lucky to even get two stars from me if it wasn't for the young lady in the front who is always more then willingly to help with anything with no problem and always so nice and greets everytime with a smile but everytime we need change we always call ahead of time to make sure they have it. but seems as if the girl managers always have a problem with getting the change for us and always rude and have attitudes and make little remarks under there breaths like " i guess we have it" or "i don't even know if we have that" to the teller that's asking for it " or " well you have to call ahead of time if you want that when we do if they don't like there job and don't know customer service for shit maybe they should pick a better career or go to school to get there. getting to big of a head because there a manager. need to grow up. read more
