I joined Genisys because I was sick of dealing with the big banks and all of the fees that they…read morecharge and I liked the idea of a credit union being owned by its members. I've found that Genisys actually charges higher fees than banks and their fees are also higher in frequency and they are unwilling to waive fees. Not only are they unwilling to waive them, but they are rude and condescending about it too. The tellers, as I've said are friendly and try to be helpful, but I don't think that they get much training. I've asked tellers specific questions about my account and I took their answer as being a knowledgeable response, but when I made financial decisions based on their responses, I've been charged fees because the tellers were wrong. I'm totally not impressed with either the services that they offer, their customer service skills, their training or their humanity.

Even though I was behind on paying my bills with them no one is ever rude or demanding they always have a great attitude, are very understanding and help me get things in order and get back on track. I have had both personal and business accounts with them, and have refinanced with them. In the past week, PNC has done the following to me: 1. Reported negative information to the credit bureaus on a loan I had already paid off following a refinance they solicited; 2. Botched my Paycheck Protection Program by failing to provide my application to the SBA before funds were exhausted, and after creating a bug-riddled interface and application process that took me nearly five hours to complete; and 3. Without prior notice of any kind, closed my personal line of credit. I think my review is fairly self-evident.

I didn't pursue the matter. Kristina was my teller she seemed nervous with my transaction, she didn't count the money in front of me. Both trips involved three people coordinating times to meet there. I was not upset when we're were requested to get additional information the first time. It was upsetting the second time as they should have told us all needed information on the first trip. The team members we were dealing with were friendly and were taking instructions from another department on the phone.

So if you see soneone come up and feel unconfortable you have to WAIT for the machine to spit it out And also no dead bolt for the inside ATM anymore :( And I would love their hours to be extended...
