When I first started getting crowns done in Feb of 2014, they were using one type of Crown material and the next time I went back it as another, they ended up replacing most if not all the original crowns under warranty. In June of 2016, I had I believe 7 Crowns done at once, due to the extreme wear that I had, we needed to build my teeth back and I was told I could add to and take away as needed for proper fit. Which sounded great with the information that I was given at the time; I can tell you it was very painful, and I will never do that again. Of those crowns, most has come off and were replaced with the newer product. Now those same crowns are breaking and I'm having to replace them again at my cost. I was led to believe these crowns were permanent not temporary. Most crowns are less than 7

After making a few calls the God's must have been with me because they led me to Dr. Childress and his wonderful team. As I made the 25 minute drive to LaGrange from where I was working, I wasn't sure what to expect. But as I walked in I was pleased to a modern office, nicely decorated and was greated by a very warm staff. After a thurough exam the Dr. and his team gave me my treatment and payment options. As I was 4 weeks from getting my new dental insurance I knew this wasn't going to be pretty. I decided to take the best option which was a full crown and was thrilled to see and hear that the Dr. has a new camera and comupter that actually creates the crown right there in his office while I waited. How wonderful to not have to return for that dreaded second visit and not to mention no nasty blue goo process! If you are searching for a new Dentist and not sure where to turn, this truly was the best dental experience I have ever had. The quote then stated that we could not use any insurance to help pay for the procedure. Then our insurance company would not pay the consultation because of the code used. They recommended an alternate code and even called the office and recommended they use this alternate code. I went back and forth via text with a Daisy in the office who was very incoherent and when I asked a question she would answer with something that had nothing to do with the issue at hand. In the end she was to bring it up with Dr. Anderson. I'm still waiting for him to contact me. I even told another Doctor about this issue and this Doctor told Dr. Anderson it looks like there's some type of misunderstanding here. Still no contact from Dr. Anderson. It looks like the ignore it and it will go away game. It sure does look like something else is going on here. With a good amount of people in the area that have Delta Dental, they surely know Delta Dental does not take the Dental code they used for the consultation. Why would I not be able to file a insurance claim even if I file the claim? I have filed a grievance with Delta Dental and will file with The State Insurance Commissioner and might even go to small claims court.

My husband had his wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Kean. The procedure was done briskly and my husband…read morehad a quick recovery. Dr. Kean was very professional and had good bedside manner. Although, I wish the procedure would've been explained a bit more to calm our nerves, especially after watching the consent video, which made us even more nervous than we felt about the surgery initially. I would also like to note that my husband ended up getting an infection in one of the extraction sites, which is not entirely the fault of the clinic; however, there was no indication regarding the length of time that the syringe should be used for on the discharge paperwork. When we went back to the clinic, my husband had to get pus and food suctioned out because we assumed that we didn't need to use the syringe anymore after finishing the medication. In addition, I wish they could have used some kind of numbing agent so he wouldn't have to experience so much discomfort during the suctioning. During the suctioning visit, it was clarified that my husband should be using the syringe for 2-3 months after the surgery, as it takes months for the extraction sites to fully heal.
