Salt and pepper catfish nuggets to go 3 filets
    Ajianni O.

I came here when they first opened and now here I am again years later.... This is not the same place lol. I say that with love. This place is a happening spot, very lively, music is turned up. On Thursdays, they have karaoke which is the day we went for my mother's birthday. I did have little children with me, a mom can definitely appreciate the loud music lol my kids are loud and no one heard them. We did stay pretty late (11pm) and there were a lot of adults, but I didn't feel like my kids were out of place as I usually would. The service is amazing, they treat you like you've known each other for years. Now we get to the food.... Not one single complaint. From barbecued oysters to salt and pepper catfish nuggets. I mean, everything is good and fresh and hot. To the point the food is so good, I forgot to take pictures of majority of it. Until next time Chasons!

Hit the Wednesday special which was $1 oysters and they didn't disappoint. Also had the Cajun wings and egg rolls. Service is always good and clean. We'll be back this weekend for the Lunar NY special

We visited the restaurant on Monday for the BOGO promotion with a party of 6. We understood there was a mandatory 20% gratuity for groups of 6+, but our final bill after tax was $309.26 while the restaurant charged $101.86 in tips. We asked why the tip was calculated based on the full price instead of the actual discounted bill amount. The server said it was how the system was set up and could not be changed. After that, the service became less friendly and another server was sent to our table. We understand servers work hard and deserve appreciation. If the service had been great, we would have had no problem tipping 20%. However, the service was slow and the restaurant was not busy, so charging over $100 in tips on a $300 bill did not feel reasonable. Gratuity should reflect the actual service and dining experience.

Came here on Wednesday for their $1 oyster deal and it did not disappoint! We arrived around 6PM and it was a bit crowded but we were able to get seated immediately and our food arrived about 30 minutes after we ordered. Ambiance is like a regular pub, quite loud with music and entertainment on the televisions. Table spacing is also a bit tight as the oyster trays are quite big plus the large bin they have for the oyster shells. I personally only ate the raw oysters and they were great and didn't taste too "fishy". Our server was very nice, didn't get his name but we had a big party (8 people) and he was able to accommodate all of us. Answered all of our questions and helped us in a timely manner. We also decided to get the Xango Cheesecake for dessert and it was delicious, definitely my favorite deep fried cheesecake I've tried and the chocolate drizzle doesn't taste too sweet. We also tried the Short Ribs with Garlic Noodles and the Mien Pepper as well. The short ribs were very tasty but the garlic noodles were not my favorite, they tasted very bland. The Mien pepper they offer is definitely not worth it, it was mostly lemon juice and cilantro (very little pepper). I would recommend not to get it and bring your own if you can (we were able to with no problem). Overall experience was very enjoyable, price for the oysters was definitely worth it and I would love to come back again.

Amazing food, spirits, and people!!! Danny was amazing he is always a good time! This place is my cheers, neighbor hang out! What's a Friday night without 2 Henny-shots and catfish and fries.

I have been craving seafood and garlic noodles. Walked in and they had a live DJ the vibe was nice the staff was nice. Got a Hennessey and pineapple a double shot, but it wasn't strong it tasted more like one shot water downed. So I'd give that a 4/10. I ordered the crab jalapeño poppers but the waitress forgot to bring it out or put it in which I was disappointed in. I got the crab by the pound and added potatoes corn and eggs with the hot fusion sauce. It was good some of my crab didn't taste fresh but majority of it did 7/10 But the garlic noodles were perfect 10/10 got the burger as well the sauce on the burger and the seasoning was good 8/10 the fries tasted a little burnt so idk if the oil needed to be changed or what the cat fish nuggets had good flavor and not over cooked but again had a after taste. Then I wanted to try the cornbread but no it was very dry and crumbly 0/10 I took one bite and couldn't do it. Overall I'd go back again for the garlic noodles for sure but I will say I do appreciate the bathroom being clean!

Old Fashioned on the left and a Dirty Vodka Martini...potent and delicious!

A good friend of mine is a well-known regular at Chason's (think the Cheers intro theme song) and has heightened my curiosity to pay the restaurant a visit. On a rainy late afternoon, my wife and I decided to pay them a visit for our weekly cheat meal infused date night. Entering the establishment, we were greeted by a myriad of mouthwatering aromas and a friendly employee standing at the front podium. Since the restaurant was fairly empty at the time, he sat us in a booth of our preference and quickly provided us with waters (remember when all restaurants used to willingly do this) and menus. For our first round of drinks, my wife opted for a dirty martini and I ordered an old fashioned. Less than 10 minutes later our drinks were being delivered to our table by the bartender. After one sip I realized that I found my spot for old fashioneds. Unlike some that I have had in the past, this version had a perfect mixture of whiskey and bitters. Therefore, it was flavorful yet potent at the same time. Although not hungry enough to order a proper meal (I'm saying this in my best British accent), we decided that we should have some sort of snack before engaging in round two of drinks. Our server Judy, highly recommended the Calamari (without Cajun spice) and the Cajun Garlic Fries. Considering the deliciousness of both the Calamari and the Cajun Garlic Fries (I must add that they were fairly large portions for the Happy Hour deal), we were very thankful for her recommendation. After getting some food into our systems, we opted to order round two of drinks. My wife chose the French Martini and I opted for a Mojito. Although refreshing and strong, the Mojito was no competition for the Old Fashioned. Judy's customer service skills were superb and she did a great job of circling back with us (even though the restaurant was starting to fill up with patrons). We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and the overall vibes of the restaurant, it was the perfect atmosphere for a rainy date night. My wife has already made plans to have an upcoming girl's night out here and I would love to check out their Thursday evening karaoke event (highly recommended by another friend of mine). Thank you Chason's Crab Stadium!

Calamari, short ribs with garlic noodles, 16oz ribeye, honey walnut shrimp

We went here recently for the first time for our anniversary. We liked how casual the restaurant was and they played good music. We were seated immediately and it wasn't too long until we ordered our meal. We wanted to try a lot, so we ordered the calamari, short ribs with garlic noodles, honey walnut shrimp, oysters, and ribeye. Everything tasted great, the only thing we probably wouldn't order again is the calamari. They were good but just something we wouldn't get all the time. My favorite were the oysters and they were huge! My husband really enjoyed the short ribs and liked how the noodles weren't greasy/oily. We didn't enjoy the mashed potatoes with the ribeye, it just seemed instant and too mushy. We would come back for everything else and maybe try the seafood boil! Staff were nice and we had a good time at Chason's.

Experience 10/10 Crab 6/10 Crawfish 10/10 Mien sauce 7/10 (too sour from lemon) But other than that great services, crawfish is good & the flavor! Wasn't a big fan of the crab tbh. Jason was our server I believe and he was amazing, thank you so much Jason for your great hospitality the wheel they let you spin is so fun, they give you free giftcards or money

Chason's consistently delivers good service and quality food. Currently, it's crab season, and whole Dungeness crab is priced at $39.99 MP!

My family and I came here for dinner and we were sat down promptly and order was taken and food came out quick, the quality of food and portions were good, place gets pretty busy and the price is less that what I expected, service was good waiter and waitresses check up on us routinely, the place can get really busy, their menu options are endless options, parking is ample.

    Honey Walnut Shrimp
    Madison L.

As a fan of Honey Walnut Shrimp, this dish will leave you in disbelief! It's crunchy and is more honey than mayo which is never the case in any restaurant. I love the innovative ratio and plating. Right now is buy one get one free crawfish order! Don't forget to pair it with garlic fries and garlic noodles. The short ribs was so good, we ordered a second one. Lastly, the lava cake is a perfect way to end dinner. Great service for large parties .

Now looking back I should've knew that there was something wrong with these.

I ate here last night @ 11pm and ordered a dozen raw oysters. Unfortunately, I started feeling extremely nauseous around 3 AM, and I'm still not feeling well. I understand that raw oysters can carry some risk, but this experience was really unpleasant. I wanted to share this so others can be cautious when ordering raw seafood. The rest of the food and service were fine, but getting sick afterward definitely overshadowed the experience. I hope the restaurant takes food safety seriously and looks into this.

We learned that on Mondays and Tuesdays from 4-10 pm, the steakhouse next door is closed so their extra prime rib is sold here at a discount! It's still delicious! We also tried the potato skin poutine. Very different than what you would expect based on the name but really delicious. I think the cheese curds were fried until crispy and served with sliced brisket, chopped mushrooms, and gravy. They were served on a small potato halved, not just the skin. Very hearty, but tasty! We also got to try the banh mi sliders with beef. Perhaps it is my bias having tried many iterations of this before, but the bao bun was not a great texture and the beef, while filet mignon, was just fine. The sauce it was served with helped a lot. And the chips that came with the bao were a bit stale. The staff are very sweet but definitely not as attentive as you would expect for a nicer restaurant. The ambiance was decent but so many blinking TVs at every angle makes for an extremely distracting environment. The noise from the casino carries a bit but is much quieter if you are deeper in the restaurant.

The birthday girl had the salmon dinner, and my sister in law had the meatloaf dinner. I enjoyed the juicy burger with tomato, avocado and bacon. It came with fries, but if you wanted to sub for a salad, it would be an additional $4. We started with a variety of appetizers, but I stuck with the dinner because that was plenty. Everyone enjoyed their meal, but i don't think my sister in law like the flavor of the meatloaf., but that's always a matter of preference/taste. We brought our own cake, but staff were available to cut it for us, and serve. There is a cake cutting fee too, so don't forget to ask about it ahead of time. The manager, Paul, was excellent. He was very attentive, and helpful, and enjoyed interacting with our group to ensure that our birthday celebration was a special one.

I wanted to give this restaurant multiple chances before making a judgment because I know they were still finding their footing when they first opened. My first visit was disappointing. The service wasn't great, and neither was the food. Since they had just opened, I decided to give them another shot. My second and third visits were much better, with attentive service and quality food. Unfortunately, things became inconsistent after that. On later visits, service started slipping, and some dishes were overly salty. This last visit was by far the worst. My family was visiting from Southern California, and they chose this restaurant. From the start, our server was largely absent and probably checked on our table only once. My sister and I ordered drinks, and after waiting an unusually long time, we had to follow up ourselves, only to realize the bartender hadn't even started making them. My brother ordered the lobster and steak, and the lobster arrived practically raw. I ordered the shrimp scampi, and the shrimp tasted freezer-burned and anything but fresh. It was incredibly disappointing. A manager did ask if they could make it right and give us dessert or another entree which I declined. They did take care of our drinks and entrees which was nice, but I would've rather had a great experience especially since my family were visiting and we were celebrating my nephews graduations and my daughter's birthday. At this point, I don't see myself returning. The inconsistency in both the food and service is just too much for me. It's especially disappointing because my husband and I used to visit the downtown location all the time, and it was always so good. I was really hoping this location would live up to that same standard.

That was also my granddaughter's choice, and we placed our name on the list for a party of 8, just before noon. We beat most of the other graduation parties coming in, with a 30 minute wait for us. After an hour wait, we were finially being seated. The hostess escorted us to our table with my granddaughter in front, to one of the smaller booths that seat 4-6 people max. She dropped the menus on the table and walked away, without looking at any one of us, not giving us the ability to say anything because the rest of us didn't even reach the table yet. My son immediately followed her all the way back to the front counter, and spoke to the desk that 8 of us can not fit in a booth that comfortably fits 4 people. We pointed out two other larger booths we passed along the way, but one was seated after our request by a reservation of 6, made after our reservation. The other table, we were told, that the server in that area had too many tables to serve at the time and had to wait. There was a large table that wasn't available yet, that they said we could have after it clears, and they apologized for trying to place us in the wrong size table. The manager did come over and asked the server to offer a table outside, but that table did not work out for us, so we waited for an available table inside, which was only another 15 minutes. We were starving by then, but happy , knowing that BJ's is a very busy place for families getting together. Most of us ordered something different, but 2 of us ordered from the lunch special menu, which came with a small pizookie (their cookie and ice cream dessert). My son chose the hamburger and I chose the southern fried chicken breast off the special menu. He loved the very juicy hamburger with fries, but my chicken breast was pretty dry, as was the gravy, where I could tell it must've been prepared and sat awhile under a heat lamp before it was served. I didn't mind at first, but it was very salty and the chicken shredded instead of cutting through easily when I cut with the knife. Our server, Jayden, who was excellent btw, offered to change it , so I had the burger instead, and it was very good. Jayden would make sure we had everything we needed, and was very efficient, especially with how busy he was with his other tables. I would love to have his service in the future, and hope that the managers recognize his work. My daughter ordered the prime rib special, which was ok this time. Her prime rib was a very small serving, compared to their standard cuts, but that's probably because she likes hers well done. My granddaughter shared her large pepperoni pizza with the table, and they make great pizza. The restaurant is large, and the wait became 90 minutes for the guests that followed so I can see how difficult it was to keep the restrooms and dining area floors cleaned, but at least, the tables were cleaned well between guests, and staff were on it, and the managers were doing a great job with their crew, despite the setback with originally placing us at a table too small. The host admitted the error, which i highly respected, and making the extra wait for us a non-issue. I was still able to take my medication with lunch before 2:00.

Also ordered a wedge salad. My son had the ribeye dish and my hubby had the chicken Alfredo pasta. The combo was good. The chicken wings were delicious. The dip was excellent with the chips. Mozzarella sticks didn't really have a cheese pull lol . The mini sliders were great. My salad was drenched in the dressing .. I couldn't finish it.. it was too much dressing. Would probably not order that again. Hubby said his pasta was ok. My son ordered his ribeye steak medium rare .. it came out medium done. The best thing about my whole meal was the biscoff cookie pizookie! Omg that's a must! It was sooo good!
