We always stop at this location on our way to Pigeon Forge and Knoxville TN. Excellent location and AMAZING food. High recommend!

We ate lunch here. The hamburger my husband had was everything he wanted. The French fries were HOT which seems so simple but most restaurants don't believe in cooking them longer and not letting them hang around the heat light. Fry them twice and send them out HOT. They did that. Waitress was happy it was our first time and took the time to be helpful. She recommended the spinach dip which was large with enough chips and salsa on the side. Could use a little more taste but very nice. I had the appetizer on coconut shrimp. Six nice size tasty with sauce- great. Reminded me of Red Lobster. read more

This is a nice family style restaurant that has a little of everything. We stopped here for lunch while out Christmas shopping. They made us wait a few minutes while they set up the table for us. I ordered the Chicken Caesar pasta salad. I have never had a Caesar with pasta but it was very good. Better than I hoped for. I will order that again. My cousin ordered the salmon and was well please with it as well. Our waitress was very nice and helpful. We had placed a to go order and she brought it to us at the right time. Ate here yesterday around 12:30. It wasn't busy at all, which we were surprised at. My friend and I each got the vegetable plate. Very generous portions and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Had enough to bring home. Our waitress was responsive to our needs, though we did have to hunt her down for a take out box. We come here often and this is the first time getting the vegetable plate. Will definitely order that again. We sat close to the aquarium and enjoyed watching the fish. Very relaxing. read more

My family regularly eats at Cheddars and we love the food. Typically, the portions are huge and you really get your monetary value out of the meal. However, tonight I picked up some Cheddars and my kids meals as well as my husbands burger meal had a much smaller portion than we usually receive. My husband (no exaggeration, see photo) received less than 5 fries TOTAL. Pretty ridiculous and as a fairly regular customer I'm very disappointed. read more

I love Cheddars' but I was a bit taken back on the staff talking trash about co-workers and stating they have thought of quitting. If I were management they would have been fired. This was my 4th visit and was a little disappointed in the salads with only 5 croutons and my boyfriend had a total of 1 small cherry tomato cut in half on his. Why bother? We don't like skimping it is unattractive. We will give it another chance. Hopefully the staff can be quieter with their opinions and conversations with each other. read more

If you are looking for good variety of food at great prices this is the place. My wife and I had dinner here while passing through down 81 and visiting a friend. I ordered the beer battered shrimp with slaw and green beans with a Blue Moon. My wife ordered the special coconut shrimp with broccoli. Both meals were very good, hot and fresh. We go to this restaurant quite often. The food is always delicious. The server we had is Misty and she's excellent! She's always on point and is just the sweetest person. Once Cheddars became a corporate restaurant it went all to hell. They'll bombard you with all these commercials about how great they are but they have fallen far from what they used to be. We are months out from when restaurants could reopen so a limited menu means lazy and inept folks running the show. If I walk in and you hand me a paper menu then I'm almost guaranteed a horrible experience unless I'm at a dive bar. No onion rings?!? Was there an onion shortage cause I can get onion rings from burger King right now?? They'll fall into the same category as Applebee's, chili's and ocharleys. Traveling and stopped here for lunch on a Sunday. Absolutely incredible service! The girl we had was wonderful. Each member in my party ordered the Lighter Side Grilled Whitefish, and the portion size was HUGE. It comes with rice and two sides. Hot and fresh as well! The absolute Cheddar's I've ever been to and I have been to many. Once I was seated it took 16 minutes before I was able to able to grab a person to see if I could get waited on. The honey mustard dressing was more horseradish than mustard and lots more than honey. The croissant that came with my salad was so hard that I could have used it for a hammer. The only good part was once I got a waitress she was very attentive and provided me some ranch dressing which was good but I had poured all the honey mustard over my salad as it's normally my favorite type. read more

Great Chain and this is a good location, I have been here about 5 times now and 4 out of the 5 times it has been awesome, tonight was great but one other time we had really wacky slow service on the food side, servers have always been great, atmosphere, portions, quality and price always great but as you can read from other reviews it's great most of the time except for some missteps in food deliver time and order accuracy. In my opinion this type of problem is usually not the back of the house issue, it's a general manager issue. This problem stems from a packed place getting a bit rushed and the servers getting backed up on pulling off the expo line in time and this is exactly when front managers need to adapt a high pace mindset and be hyper aware of maxed out server sections getting loaded up with big groups or complex check outs that lead to food setting in the expo window.... I usually have a good review for this location, but they dropped the ball this time. My wife and I entered the place just after 4pm on Saturday. They seated us immediately and our server was right on top of things. Something happened after that. Our order took forever to complete. Our server gave us complementary rolls and could see my frustration. I did not see any order delays with other groups around us. We finally received our order. Another server delivered it to us. She asked if I need ketchup for my fries. Never saw her again and never received the ketchup. I expressed my frustration with a member of manager. Did not receive an explanation for the delays. A good restaurant can deliver good food and service. The food was average and the service was pitiful. Plenty of other restaurant selections in the area. I will not return to this one. read more

Cheddar's Casual Cafe s a simple restaurant that tries to live up to their idea of serving quality fresh food in a comfortable atmosphere at a fair price, and that is exactly what they did. Entering the restaurant you immediately notice the modern atmosphere while I was friendly greeted by the staff. The place kind of reminded me of an upscale Applebee's with a cozy Olive Garden setting but more of a casual feel. We had a big party and they were great with accommodating us getting our own big table and having an attentive server. Comfortable atmosphere: check The menu had standard American picks and I heard the homemade chicken tenders were great so I ordered that along with a small steak. After our first drink rounds and some apps, our food came and you could tell it was made from scratch and fresh. I appreciate when simple restaurants do this because this is what distinguishes them from others with their own signature stamp on their food items. Quality fresh food: check After all the food and drinks were finished we were stuffed and paid our bill that was very reasonable. Fair prices: check Really nothing to complain about here at Cheddar's. They were exactly what they boasted to be and our party was well fed and I was very pleased to be apart of the experience. Cheddars is a casual chain that has a relatively cheap menu and rivals FATZ Cafe. The menu is a little country, no frills comfort food...just the way I like it! I always get the Club at Cheddars...it is my favorite menu item. I wish they would use better quality deli meat even if the sandwich was $2-3 more. I ordered one of the Comfort selections from the menu. It was listed that it comes with mashed potatoes and one more side. I asked the server to substitute a healthier side for the mashed potatoes and one other healthy side. I was told that "There are no substitutions. You can leave off the mashed potatoes but I can still only give you one side." I said that I wanted broccoli and carrots. The server said "which one?" I said, "broccoli a d carrots." I was told "you can only have one or the other." I said that I wanted to eat healthier for my sides. I had to pay extra to leave off the mashed potatoes and get two healthier sides! I have been wanting to try Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen for what seems like forever but unfortunately we don't have any near where we live so I was so excited to discover this one right up the street from the hotel we were staying in. I joined the E-Club as we were driving over for dinner and got our free queso and chips - love queso but have never had it with the seasoned ground beef but I can't ever imagine having it without it from now on. Hubby and I both went with the Half Rack of Ribs and Shrimp Combo - me with grilled shrimp, him with fried. I also loved the Italian green beans and loaded baked potato - most places upcharge for that but not Cheddars. Our server timed everything perfectly with our entrees arriving just as we were finishing up the queso. I loved the sauce that they basted the grilled shrimp with, I love the combination of sweet and savory and this sauce was sheer perfection. The portion of ribs was very generous and the meat fell right off the bone, absolutely delicious. Our server was Jennifer and she was spot on, always right there when we needed anything, often anticipating what we were about to ask before the words came out of our mouths - awesome service. The only issue I had at all was that we were sat at a table in the bar right beside the door to the patio and employees went in and out that door at least a dozen times for smoke breaks while we were sitting there and the cold, damp (it was raining that evening) blew in every couple of minutes along with the awful smell of cigarette smoke. The restaurant and bar area was not very full at all so perhaps keep that in mind when seating customers for dinner. read more

We had never ate at a Cheddar's before, and we love trying new places. The mojito was delicious, I got the ribs and chicken tender platter with mashed potatoes very good and a lot of food. My husband got the lunch portion of the catfish was also very good and a huge portion of food, so I couldn't imagine the dinner portion. The restaurant itself is beautiful with brick showing and a entire wall fish aquarium. Bathrooms were also very clean there. read more

Traveling from MS to MD we stopped in Bristol over night and ate here. We got in late and there werent many options so we ended up hete and didnt get to the restaurant until 10pm, and we were probably the last party seated for the night. I had never been to Cheddars before so it was new, but Id definitely go again. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The food was good. I had the Key West Chicken and Shrimp with side of broccoli cheddar casserole and mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was a little cold but everything tasted good. Facility was nicer then I had expected, thought it would be more like a cafe/diner but it was a nice dine in family restaurant and clean. Margarita was delicious too. We have never been here before. First of all, we liked the looks of the outside; and when we were seated, we liked the inside too. Our server John was absolutely fantastic! We ordered chips with quest and salsa; he bagged our leftovers for us and topped everything off for us. I asked what the person next to us was eating, and described it perfectly. So, I had the 9 oz. bourbon glazed salmon with carrots and southern style green beans. My hubby had the Key West Chicken and shrimp with pineapple and pico de gallo, with the broccoli cheese casserole and green beans. John kept checking on us; asking us what he could do, to let him know. He is very personable and super efficient and helpful. I would love for this chain to come to the Lehigh Valley. We had to wait over a hour, while I understand social distancing this particular restaurant was at best at 10% capacity. The two lemonades we ordered were all tart. Okay replace with a water and move on. Keep in mind we still don't have the croissants that you are to get with drinks. So we both order chicken Alfredo which comes with a salad to have before the meal. Meal comes out.... no salad or croissants yet. The pasta was cold, meat was dry and there was little to no sauce in that plate. Waitress disappeared searching for our salads, it's a lost cause just come back so we can get some salt and pepper to make this food some what palatable. Nope, she's gone.... the salad is her only mission now. Oh she returns with the salad and no dressing. I can't make this up folks. At this point it's just awkward, well her second mission she remembered BY GOLLY THEY STILL DONT HAVE CROISSANTS. Well the manager comes over and gives us our salads for free due to their timing I'm sure he thought that fixed it all. This was my first time at cheddars.
