It was good...where you "get a lot for not a lot" family friendly ..very affordable comfort food...We were served by Sam..very friendly ...great service..started us out with our drinks and a most heavenly croissant drizzled with honey butter...absolutely my b favorite..completely put me in the best mood ever! I had a grilled chicken pecan salad ...and Dean had a smokehouse burger and fries..(fries were nice and crispy) next time we will go in for just dessert ..they have lots of dessert options! Happy hour..with a variety of drinks...Great location by Village Pointe!

They opened a closer Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen so we just had to go. Made a reservation online and arrived before the crowds hit. Shared parking lot, only a slight wait in the lobby and then we were seated right away. Delicious croissants drizzled with honey butter. Hot, fresh and baked fresh. I had the Beer Battered Shrimp with a Loaded Baled Potato and Broccoli & Cheese Casserole. Someone ordered the Chicken Tender Dinner with Hot Spicy Sauce, Mashed Potatoes and Ceasar Salad. Someone else ordered the Sirloin Steak, Loaded Baked Potato and Ceasar Salad. They also have an extensive bar menu. By the time we ordered, the lobby was filled with people. Each table has an electronic menu/bill paying system. You. An order more food, drinks, or desserts without having to wait for a server. You are label to close out your bill at your leisure. It was a delicious dinner. We will definitely return. It was challenging to snake our way out through the exit. Ok, bye.

We really enjoyed Cheddar's new location at Village point in Omaha! Our server was an amazing young kid-Gabriel B. who knew the menu well & was quick to get our drinks and kept us refilled. I ordered the bourbon salmon and shrimp with broccoli that was all cooked to perfection and flavorful. My son ordered a half rack ribs and chicken tenders. That all looked amazing. He devoured it all. My husband always liked their chicken tenders and shrimp. It did not disappoint. I like the new location, it's fresh clean and we did not have long of a wait since we did a call ahead to RSVP

Ugh, I hate to say it, but this was just not very good. My sister worked at the original Omaha location for years when we were growing up, so I've eaten a LOT of Cheddars. But unfortunately every food item here missed the mark. The honey butter croissants that allegedly came right out of the oven were almost stale tasting; it was definitely not the light, fluffy croissant I remember. I had the Monte Cristo, my old favorite. It tasted kind of like...nothing and ham? I don't know how to describe it. Just totally lacking flavor. The fries were overly salty (and I like a salty fry) and the overall flavor/texture was not good. My husband got the ribs and chicken tenders. He said the chicken was good, but the ribs were just fine and on the drier side. He would not order them again. I will say, our service was great and the new location is nice and clean (although I miss the fish tank!) However, I can't see myself rushing back here.

We grabbed a late lunch here when everyone was starving after baseball. We were seated immediately, and our server was very friendly. We started with the queso and chips that were better than I was expecting. Honestly, the queso had a little kick to it, but the salsa was really, really good. My husband and I split the ribeye with steamed broccoli and loaded mashed potatoes. Our ribeye was cooked, medium rare just like we asked for, and the sautéed mushrooms and onions gave a little extra flavor. Our son just had his wisdom teeth taken out so he was limited on what to order, but he said their loaded baked potato soup was delicious. Our other son opted for the chicken tenders, fries and a loaded baked potato. He love their hot honey dipping sauce, but said the fries could use a little extra seasoning. He loved the load of baked potato though. Overall great experience with fast, great service. We will definitely be back.

Impressively slow for pickup orders. They tell you it will be ready in 2 mins and you get it 20 mins later

Nice spot in Village Pointe to grab something in between, before or after shopping with the family!…read moreWe made a reservation and were able to get seated ahead of time which is always nice. If you get a choice of spots to sit, I would request not to sit on west side of restaurant where there is a long bench seat and tables lined up. It felt pretty close together, a little too cozy for me. The table next to us was in our conversation too often and we could definitely hear their conversation just fine. I'm also not sure what our "Universal Service Fee" was for, but wasn't an outrageous fee. We paid cash trying to avoid the extra fees. In all, it's a good spot as long as you get to chat with your party and not have unintended visitors from neighboring tables.

Gilberts you've been knocked down to number 2. I love the calamari and the dips they came with. It has the perfect chew and wasn't overcooked. It's hard to remember, but I believe my husband had some kind of chicken Alfredo or pasta. He has to write his own review. It was good. I also had a wedge salad, which was delicious as well. The ambience of 402 is nice and seems upscale but at the same time casual. I like that because we weren't dressed up. The waiters and waitresses wore T-shirts and jeans, but the atmosphere is still fancy for a nice date night.

I honestly can't remember the burger I had, but I remember that I wanted to have it with the strawberry aioli and they were happy to make the change for me. After I ordered I saw 10 other people with order numbers in their hand so that was an indication of the wait we were about to endure. We had to stand for a bit before a table was available. It took 45 minutes before the food arrived. Now the food. It was good enough to say I'll try it again. If it wasn't for the generous portion of fries I would have left hungry. I'd be happy to pay $18 for two sliders and half the amount of fries. Fries were good but most likely a premade frozen fry nothing unique. The size of the burger was honestly comparable to the McBurger not the Big Mac (smaller and less meat). Couldn't have been more than 1/4 lb. Very thin. Yes I know it's a smash burger but paper thin and didn't pour out of an already tiny bun. I ordered the heat burger. It came with pepper jack cheese jalapeños and aïoli sauce. I dipped it in ketchup b/c it seemed dry. The 9 year old ordered the classic with added bacon. I'd say add the 3rd patty for $3 to make the meat to bun ratio closer to equal.

They took the plate back and didnt come back for 30 minutes. After finally coming back, they brought a steak that was cooked medium. The issue was that it was so over charbroiled that there was a thick black crust over the entire steak that tasted like a griddle. Also the manager came by like 5 times to ask how everything was and wanted to watch me cut into my steak, i felt like a hostage. We ended up just trying it and leaving, will not be coming back. Edit Well the manager came by again and said he would take it off the bill. When i got the bill, the steak was still on there. When i brought it up to the manager, he said "well i took the soda and an appetizer off" which totaled $15. It was a $30+ dollar steak. Then he started arguing with me. He also had to go to about 4 other tables for similar issues. Just very poor management. Our waitress was fantastic, it is sad that she has to deal with such a inept and ignorant manager.
