I feel as if its totally necessary to inform the public about my experience with this gym and its owner. We started out at CVA in Feb with 2 tumbling classes a week. My daughter did great so we made the decision to tryout for cheer when the new season began. Fast forward a few weeks. The waiting area we have to sit in is small and there are only a few chairs. We get CRAMPED in that small room so we can hear each other breathing basically. Suddenly some of the moms start making horrible comments about how children who live in apartments and trailers are trash and that they were upset with new zoning because trash would infest their school now. I went home and told my husband how disgusted I was with what I had heard that night. I continued going to practices as normal and minding my business. Last week a friend and I hear a mom talking about a kid she taught that has ADHD, she was point blank making fun of him. At that point I just walked out. I was heated but kept my mouth shut. Fast forward to today. I have a 3 year old that I have to drag to practices with me. He was eating chips and he spilled crumbs on the floor. I got up and left him sitting by a friend while I grabbed a broom. When I walk back in the room she informs me that the moms behind us were making comments about my son and the mess he was making. At this point, I had enough. He is 3. I was choking back tears. I thought I was making the right decision and approached the owner/head coach of my daughters team and attempted to tell her what happened and about all of the things I had been overhearing the last few weeks. When I tell you I have never been treated so badly by anyone in my entire life, I truly mean it. I brought along a witness because I had heard that the owners attitude was out of control and I didnt want to be lied on or accused of saying/doing things that were untrue. The owner told me she wasnt the parent police, told me I needed thicker skin, told me she doesnt care if people talk about little kids because "people are allowed to say what they want about who they want" according to her. She called me a crazy cheer mom even though the situation had NOTHING to do with cheer. She called me stupid, told me I was wasting her time, told me to shut up. She got this evil, almost demonic look in her eyes and told me I wasnt allowed to come back into her gym. She said if my daughter wanted to cheer she had to be dropped off alone. She told me if we got upset over other moms talking about our son then cheer wasnt the right sport for us. Why should we have to endure and accept bullying just to participate in a sport? She told me I had a horrible rep as a crazy cheer mom on top of many other hateful unnecessary things. I never raised my voice at the owner, never spoke to her disrespectfully, never cursed, never even came out of character besides almost crying. She treated me like an animal in front of my children and saw nothing wrong with her actions. She jumped at the first chance she got to verbally abuse and bully me. When we left she called me and told me the moms from my daughters team werent comfortable with her being on their team anymore and they offered to move her to a new team below her skill level. We declined and requested to be dropped from the program immediately and issued a refund for everything we paid for. Its a shame that the owner of this place has no soul, no conscience, no morals and no class. I hope she sees this review and realizes how unstable and unprofessional her actions were. Nothing about her behavior tonight was normal and in my opinion she is definitely not fit to be working with children. She treats her own kids like crap, imagine how she treats the athletes. So many parents in the waiting area talk badly about her attitude with the kids. I overheard her yelling at her own daughter on the phone because she was crying and upset over something someone said about her. It was hard to witness/hear. She is just a cold soul and she definitely lives up to her reputation of being a horrible person. All other staff members are amazing. I will attach text messages from a witness. read more

I will start this review by blatantly stating that I am not a fan of the owner of Cheerville. She and I had a very troubling encounter in August of 2019 that resulted in me pulling my 6 year old daughter out of Cheerville. I left reviews about that experience on multiple platforms. My daughters best friend is still enrolled in a program at Cheerville as of December 2019. My daughters best friends mother decided to book her daughters birthday party at Cheerville. That mother was aware of the incident between me and the owner, so she approached the owner personally and asked for permission to invite my daughter to the birthday party. The owner agreed and so the mother booked the party and invited us. The night before the birthday party I received an email from the owner stating my daughter is no longer allowed to attend the party because of the reviews I left online detailing my awful experience with her. The party would have been held at a different location if we would have been informed that my daughter would not be allowed to attend. We had to break the news to our daughters, and now we have 2 totally devastated little girls who have been crying for hours. It is totally selfish and unnecessary to punish innocent children and make them suffer over adult issues. The party was not being held during business hours and I would have had absolutely no contact with the owner or any other employees during our time there for the party. read more

CheerVille Athletics is a second home for my daughter, as well as myself! After walking into the gym 6 years ago, and having a personal conversation and tour from Katie, I knew this was the place that we should have been at (after leaving another gym), and a place we would be for the duration of my daughter's cheer career. My daughter attended numerous open gyms and fell in love with the facilities, athletes, and coaches, which helped the transition. I fell in love with program when I realized how accessible, tough, loving, knowledgeable, concerned, friendly, honest, trustworthy, goal oriented, and driven EVERY coach was(is)! It was just the type of program that was worth the investment. Today, I love it even more! Now it's family! And it's the kind of village that you want to have in your corner. The success of the program speaks for itself, but it is the personnel behind it and the athletes and families that make the brand! It is a business that is growing and rules and values are in place for a reason. It's not for everyone, and that's okay. But, if you want your child to be coached tough, loved even harder, and successful on and off the mat...CheerVille Athletics is for your family!. Read before signing up for their All Star Cheer Program. I will not give personal opinion. This is how to owner speaks to customers paying her company thousands of dollars: " "Here is how I want to handle this going forward: If you decide to ignore the rule and choose to record instead of cheering there will be consequences. I'm not going to babysit the VIP area. If you see someone videoing please take a picture or it and text it to me. I'll put a $50 credit on your account for helping me monitor our fan section. The person in the picture will receive a $50 charge to their account that must be paid prior to their athlete returning to practice. Their athlete will also receive extra conditioning as punishment for their family member's actions. Not fair...you're right! So don't do that to your kid and there won't be an issue. If you have family and friends attending that do not get these emails it will be your responsibility to let them know this rule" read more

We started CheerVille Athletics 5 years ago. I signed my daughter up for a tumble class and instantly loved the coaches, gym and staff. We were asked to tryout for the Allstar program and have remained in the program since. Fast forward 2 years and my second daughter was old enough to join a team. My daughters love their teams and coaches. My husband and I could not ask for a better program to encourage our girls to be the best they can be, push them to reach goals and learn team building skills. When our youngest daughter became ill, management reached out to us to make sure we had what we needed and has supported us through our journey. CheerVille Athletics has become a second family to us and we wouldn't have it any other way. read more

This is my daughter's sixth season at CheerVille. I couldn't rave about it more. Excellent coaches that care about the athletes and the program. They have an unwavering loyalty to their owner, who is an intelligent business woman. These people have led to the success of this program. CheerVille gives athletes the opportunity to grow in the sport of Allstar Cheerleading. It teaches confidence, responsibility, discipline and a drive to succeed. It's not an easy commitment but one you will not regret as a parent. My daughter has grown so much as a young woman and has values I see lacking in other children her age. This gym has TALENTED athletes thanks to their talented staff! My child was new to Cheerville last year and she has grown as an athlete tremendously since. She adjusted to the program with ease thanks to their friendly environment, because its hard to find a program with that amount of success and it not be a pretentious experience. On a side note- we just had a birthday party there a couple of months ago and the kids could not have had a better time! I highly recommend their facility for birthday parties if you want a nice and worn out child by bedtime. We LOVE Cheerville! read more

Doesn't care to hear a parents concerns out instead just acts in a totally unprofessional way!!! Cheerville is an amazing gym to send your kids to! The coaches are extremely knowledgeable and have strong backgrounds in high school, all-star & college level cheerleading. The staff work diligently to push kids to do their best while building strong relationships with the kids and their families.
