One word... Delicious. We stopped in for something sweet and were so glad we did. We ordered a 6 pack so that we could try a variety of flavors. We got a key lime, Cinnabon, 2 red velvet, banana, and cookies and creme. They were all great. If I had to pick a favorite, it would be the red velvet, but honestly, they were all sooooo good. Stopped in here for a sweet treat. They have a good selection of cheesecakes, brownies and shakes. My wife went with a Brookie and I went with a Biscoff cheesecake. My wife's Brookie was super rich and was really good. My cheesecake was a little bit of a letdown, I was expecting a New York style cheesecake texture but it had a texture more like a set jell/paste and the crust on the bottom was just crumb with nothing holding it together. Went to see what the place was offering about a week ago. Walked into the store and immediately got hit with an "air freshener" that was so strong it almost gagged us. Did our best to ignore it and went to the counter. The lady was pleasant, answered our questions and we ordered 6 of their mini cheesecake cups to take home, one blondie, and one brookie. As we waited for the lady (only one person working in the store) to make the blondie and brookie, the air freshener smell was just overpowering. We had planned on eating them there, but decided once we got them to go eat in the car. So, the product... The cheesecake cups were terrible. Cloyingly sweet and it didn't taste like cheesecake at all. It was more like a pudding or custard and the "flavor" was what you ordered (red velevet, not really. peach was a dollop of peach preserves. turtle I didn't even try, we threw them in the garbage at home.). The brookie and blondie were good, but again incredibly sweet and piled with soft serve ice cream (4-5 inches tall). Worst part about the whole thing... everything tasted like the smell of the air freshener. I kid you not it was like they sprayed the stuff on the desserts. Won't be going back. read more

My first experience with Cheesecake On Point was their food truck at a festival in Hillcrest. After that, I made a mental note to try them as soon as I could. As it turned out, my twins birthday made the perfect occasion. I called the shop and asked for a custom strawberry and Oreo cake for about 20 teens and preteens. I worked with the owner to design the look & taste the twins were going for. The owner was responsive, kind, professional and knowledgeable. She advised me well as far as both flavor pairings and size. So, I very much enjoyed working with her. When the day came to pick up the cake, everything went smoothly and as planned. Not to mention my girls and their friends loved their cake! From the clear communication to the taste of the actual cheesecake, everything really was on point. I don't understand how people are saying they like this stuff. It was a misrepresentation to me. This was not cheesecake. It was a small tin of some type substance with the consistency of pudding. There were gram cracker sprinklings at the bottom and there wasn't much crust. It reminded me of the pudding cups from the grocery store. Went to their storefront, and was not disappointed! They have cheesecake "cupcakes" and cheesecake soft serve, and I tried both. Both were delicious. My favorite flavors so far have been key lime, brown butter pecan, and cookies and cream. I love the cupcake size, you can try several flavors! Only downside to the cupcakes is the icing they put on top: I am not a fan. But I don't like most icing, so that is a personal preference.
