On the recommendation of a local business owner, go to Chef Warrens. Perfect, we arrived and had the most amazing service, Erica was the everything from the perfect bartender, to a great server. My gold rush was perfect. Dinner was the most tender hangar steak and fries, tile fish wow. So good. Great wine list too. Now save your appetite for dessert Flourless white chocolate cake Stop It Now

We had a date night here & enjoyed it. The wine was good, although I do wish there were more wines by the glass. I got the tuna & my husband got the duck. My husband liked the duck a lot! My tuna was a bit bland but it was cooked well. The risotto that is paired with the tuna was amazing! I could have eaten just that & been so satisfied. Our waitress was great & very attentive. We'll be back.

First, the food is impeccable and the atmosphere more than welcoming. I started with the Winter Solstice cocktail (pictured). Had the Kangaroo medallions appetizer and the foie gras terrine appetizer (pictured). Both were phenomenal. The terrine was recommended by our server, Daphne. Daphne was an absolute gem of a person. Very attentive and personable. Marianne, one of the owners, came by and personally greeted us and made recommendations on food and the wine pairing. We had the duck breast. It was cooked perfectly medium rare. It also came with a foie gras- based sausage. Never had anything quite like it. Very tasty, but definitely far more savory than a "regular" sausage/bratwurst. Recommended wine paired great. Did not have room for dessert, but Daphne recommended the flourless white chocolate cake. They also have a nice selection of after dinner drinks. There is a reason they've been in business for 26 years. They do it ALL right!!!

We really liked this place. To start,?the French onion soup was the best I've ever had. We also had the chicken dish. What a treat!

The best dessert I've tasted in a very long time.

This place was okay, I give it a 6 out of 10.. Definitely over priced, the menu sounds better then it taste. The dessert was a 10 of of 10 flourless cake I think that was the name...That dessert alone was worth the drive. Sad this place is dine in only...I give this place 3 stars only because of the dessert was amazing...

Knowledgable staff, excellent wine selection, clean, quaint atmosphere, but most of all the food is delicious. We went to Chef Warren's for our anniversary. Reservations are a must. The seating is in one main room. The meals are prepared behind the bar. Wait staff was attentive. The highlight was the food. It pleased every sense. It did not disappoint.

    The Mussels are amazing.....

We LOVE! This place~ every time we are in town we visit. We have brought customers from all of the World... and they enjoy it much the same. Yes, reservations are tight, sometimes they can't accommodate larger groups... especially during High Season in Pinehurst . Food is delicious : with so many layers. The Ambiance is a smaller, even more Romantic theme. The service is warm and welcoming~ Mary Ann always keeps a keen eye on the dining room as to times and entrees coming in and out. That's what a good Manager does. PS: my hubby is taking customers there this week , without me, and I'm jealous! I hope he gets the Onion Soup! Or the Mussels!!! OMG

Is there room for someone with a mobility scooter to maneuver?

I believe there was a large table just in front of the door. But there was enough room for a scooter to come through. The staff are friendly enough im sure they'd accommodate anyway.

Five stars without hesitation!…read more We were visiting the Southern Pines/Pinehurst area and wanted a local restaurant we could brag about when we got home. Full Moon Oyster Bar delivered. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The seafood was outstanding, and the atmosphere was fun, energetic, and welcoming. You can tell this is a place that locals love. The highlight of our evening was our server, Justin. He was friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, and made excellent recommendations. He/ and teamchecked on us just enough to make sure we had everything we needed without ever making us feel rushed. Outstanding customer service. If you're anywhere near Southern Pines or Pinehurst, put Full Moon Oyster Bar on your list. We'll definitely be back, and we'll be asking for Justin again!

First and foremost: Lauren was absolutely phenomenal. She was a fantastic problem-solver and was…read morespot-on with her attention & service. The problem was that there were many matters that Lauren had to try to mitigate that brought our experience from a four star to a three star: My stuffed salmon was the last of ten meals served & it was so overcooked that the salmon resembled jerky. They offered to make another for me to take to-go, but that did nothing for me in the moment (I still had to navigate a burned meal & we all know that type of meal does not reheat well). Noodles & sauce that came with the dish were very good. The "succotash" was unremarkable. Two plates of King crab legs (an EXTREMELY expensive meal) came with no melted butter - my friends had to ask twice for butter - crab got cold before butter was ever served. Waitress (not Lauren) said full serving costs $120. For some reason, 1/2 serving consisted of two legs, full serving consisted of three legs? We were told a claw would be included as well with the full serving, but then "reassured" that a full serving was indeed received without the claw. Chicken teriyaki was good. Mussels with pasta was good. Apparently. it is "safe" to consume the living red worms that squiggle on the oysters on the half shell, but in all our years in other restaurants with oysters, we've never seen worms moving on our plates. Is that because other restaurants clean off the oysters in a different manner? Is it because other restaurants serve on ice? I honestly don't know, but do know I can't eat wriggling worms. I sincerely appreciate Lauren's attempt to alleviate our concerns. Apparently, there was/is a shortage of glasses, because refills of beer and alcohol came in different sized glasses with each round. One beer refill came in a small brandy-type glass with no explanation. Again, a solution was offered well after the fact, but honestly should not have been necessary. This is not a fault of the waitstaff. The potatoes & slaw that are served with each meal were brought before our drinks were ever served - are they intended to be treated like appetizers? (Just a note: Active Duty military & Federal employees have been advised not to consume poppy seeds - it's ridiculous - but half of our table couldn't eat the slaw (which was unfortunate because the slaw was very good - one of my favorite recipes). Fried dishes were over cooked - extremely dark & tough. Do not forgot to ask what "Market price" is - it may be well over $100 per serving. By the way: their Carolina Colada is now my favorite drink! Delicious!! Look at the back of the menu for the day's drink special.

Our order consisted of Coconut Shrimp, Low Country Boil, and Flounder Basket. For dessert we had Key lime pie with mango drizzle. The restaurant is well decorated, clean, and has options: dining room, Sun room, and patio. The atmosphere is welcoming. Service was prompt, attentive, and professional. We don't expect perfection; how problems are handled matter most. Our Coconut Shrimp had several pieces undercooked. The wait staff immediately acknowledged the issue and management produced a new fully cooked replacement served with a sincere apology. Since we ate half the order before seeing the issue, I attempted to waive off the offer for the staff removing the appetizer from our bill. They graciously insisted that it be on the house. Low country boil and the flounder basket did not disappoint! The boil was pleasantly spicy- not too much, but just enough zing to awaken the senses. The flavors were rich and buttery. The flounder was lightly breaded, flaky and light. Note the tartar sauce had a light, lemon flavor. The hush puppies were delicious and fresh. The mango pie had a delightful flavor, slightly acidic and not too sweet. The mango drizzle balanced the acidity well. Note the light, flavorful crust. We highly recommend this establishment and look forward to dining here again soon.

Bottle of wine, 1 appetizer, 2 entrees, 2 desserts = $175 not including tip. Complimentary biscuits were not fully cooked - still doughy. Waitstaff said they were "waiting for the biscuits to cook" - totally understandable, but wait 3 more minutes so you don't serve uncooked dough. This is a time management thing for the kitchen: 5:00 reservations = put biscuits in the oven no later than 4:40. Escargot was good. Disappointed that our dirty/empty appetizer plates stayed all over the table so long. This is the difference between "fine dining" & a typical restaurant. Utensils used for appetizers should be removed & replaced for main meal. Just another little detail that sets apart "price is worth it" & "why'd I pay that much?" Steak frites were good. Lamb was good. Desserts were good. Cacao nibs were entirely too hard - I thought I was eating pieces of nut shells. Not enjoyable. Waitress was very friendly, but we did get the feeling that we weren't regulars, so it was ok to not pay attention to us (like remove dirty dishes).

She did an excellent job explaining the menu and making suggestions. My husband got a tartare for his appetizer. I tried a bite and can confirm it was delicious! I got the Caesar salad. It was good but I don't think I'd order again--it was just a personal preference issue. I really loved the dressing and the sunflower seeds in it were superb! I got a filet as my main. I've tried Brussels sprouts multiple times and always think they tasted bad and the texture was weird--Tartare convinced me that Brussels sprouts can be delicious! I would eat them again but only from this place! I'm picky about sauces on steaks but again, it was spectacular. I struggled to eat it all but wanted to, I was afraid I'd make myself sick due to the generous portion. My husband was deciding between two meals and our server suggested the lamb. It was an excellent recommendation. He shared a bite with me and I loved it. I would recommend it! I enjoyed my dessert--bananas foster. It wasn't too sweet but had a good flavor. I like the texture on the bananas to be a bit more caramelized but I would get it again. My husband had the crepes Suzette, again at the suggestion of our server. He really enjoyed it. We would recommend going! It's a perfect place for a nice meal in a peaceful environment.
