This was our first jet ski experience for the 4 of us. Our reservation was at 5-6, our first guide (sorry for not remembering your name but you were great!) who helped set us up for a fun time. The hour went by super fast and was definitely worth trying out for 320ish after refueling and for 2 jet skis. It definitely could be a 5 star experience but given the time to return our rentals, this is where it fell short of the experience. We were informed that we'd just pull up and someone would help us which wasn't the case. It was pretty crowded and they redirected us back out in the water which was fine. We noticed another jet skiier pulled in after the boats and other jet skis cleared out so we followed up too. There wasn't much direction into what we should have done after, so we pulled back into the loading bay and waited around for instructions from one of the team members. We weren't really sure who were team members as they were just watching us and not stepping in to help. We waited 5 mins without anyone letting us know next steps so we headed back to the waiver signing window where she mentioned we needed the fuel payment form. Went back to the dock and they told us we had to wait until someone could fill up our rentals, which ended up taking an extra 45 minutes. TLDR: If you're looking to try jet skiing for the first time I highly recommend it, this place definitely sets you up for a great experience but some organization improvements when returning rentals could definitely make it 5 stars. read more

We parasailed with our son with Chelan Parasail back in 2015 (check out my prior review) and it was amazing. We returned this year and treated a neighbors son and it was the same. Eric & Ashley are real pros; polite, professional and all about safety. The trip got underway and we were up fast. Despite the low land smoke from the fires, the view and the air up there is clear and clean as you can tell by my photos. The ride was gentle, breezy and fun and the dip was hilarious! We rented a particular boat, when we got out to the dock they pulled up a completely different boat, a much lesser boat. When I called the front office from the dock they said sorry about your luck, you can take the boat or not but we don't give refunds. When I asked to speak to a manager or someone with authority I was told no one was available. We took the boat out. I wrote a google review on our way to the first spot. Suddenly someone became available and sent an employee out to the boat we were on and ordered us back to the dock for writing a bad review. Where to start. Family rented a boat for 4 hours, and ended up staying out only 2 hours. The boat we paid $600 was a piece of junk. Steering was sloppy, radio was completely busted, dials didn't work, and just an overall bad experience. Didn't even think to look at reviews as we have rented at other places in Chelan and this is the only time we came in early from the water. Trying to provide feedback to the manager was met with a surprisingly defensive response, which after looking at the reviews, makes sense. Also, the manager threatened to put me on a "list", which is laughable considering I would never look to rent from this place again. read more

We showed up at 915 for a 930 reservation and there was already a really long line.. Standing in the hot sun that early in the AM was painful but it started to move faster as more staff showed up to work. We rented the Lime Razor and it's advertised with a top but sadly it was broken... Also the radio didn't work that was a double bummer but luckily we brought a Bluetooth speaker.. The boat worked great though and we have fun- Even though we didn't get on the boat until 950, the four hour rental started when we left the dock so that was fine. This would really be only a three star rental but this was the second time my family rented, and last year it was a great experience from check in and boat quality so will keep it at four stars! read more

Terrible experience attempting to rent jet skis. We had a group of 7 and we wanted to rent 3 jet skis and we stopped by and we're told together they are not renting jet skis due to the weather wind. I've been to Chelan several times and the wind is nothing new. The fact they had a help wanted sign outside and several jet skis sitting in the water which they could have easily rented to our group of 7 would have likely have been a net positive for them but instead the teens working the stand chose to laugh means business must be very good or maybe they prefer a different type of customer than our group. read more

Where do I even start with this place... Avoid if you possibly can! This place they call a business is a sham. I made a mistake renting a boat from here, I knew it had a low rating but I figured to give this place a chance because they had a nice Razor boat. When my group and I arrived, the line was extremely long. No social distancing was enforced by the business to the customers, the line was crowded and the lady who rung me up didn't even have a mask on. They told me and my group arrive 30 minutes in advance, we arrived 40 minutes in advance and waited an hour and a half to get on our boat. Once we got on the boat the speaker didn't work, there were rules on the seats and canopy, the description didn't match the boat AT ALL! It was CRAP!!!! The customer service was POOR! Rude employees with bad attitudes. When asked if we could get something refunded for the boat not having speakers I was told all sales are final! Even though I called a week prior, spoke to some lady name Julie asked her if there was radio/speakers on the boat! She told me there was radio and aux speakers on the boat I was renting! Total lie!!!! When the guy gave us the boat tour and the how to instructions on the boat, he had a terrible attitude like he didn't want to help us (maybe because we were minorities), when asked questions about he answered SO RUDELY! This place is okay... it's true that you are only as strong as your weakest link. And they had quite a few weak links. Honestly the staff is just really young. Pretty sure they are all in high school. They were relatively friendly with me, but they have no sense of urgency. It makes you anxious watching them work. People who are paying ~$500+, you need to light a fire under that ass. The check-in process took about 45 min. When you book the reservation they say to come 15 min prior, but you definitely want to come at least 30-45min early to start your reservation slot relatively on time. They give you some paperwork to fill out and the waiver is done on a tablet. For each of these procedures, I had to flag someone down. Called over some guy I saw through the door who was talking with his coworker about his weekend plans... like wake up bro, you are at work. At the end of the day, I received the deposit back and our group had a great time. The guy helping us dock our boat was pretty friendly and check out was very easy. read more

The boat we rented had a motor that sounded like it was going to give out anytime we tried to speed up, we rented Big Blue Pontoon. The line and all the documents took way too long to fill out and could've been completed on the boat. We went down to the office to rent a boat for the next day. We asked them if we could cancel if we changed our minds about going and if we could get a refund . They said yes and we ended up paying for the boat in advance . The next day one of the kids fell sick and we decided to not take the boat . When we called to cancel they refused to give us a refund . They said it's against their policy. It's absolutely pathetic to say something and go back on one's words. We have been there couple of times and they have always been very accommodating. Bad customer service, very rude. All what they care is money, they made our life in danger renting us a boat for half day without checking the forcast. Was really bad weather huge waves that almost flip our boat a lot of water was getting inside, that make's the boat hard to contro, also Was smoke from the fire so we used only 1h. They have this absolutely ridiculous "no docking" rule. How are you supposed to stop somewhere to eat or pick up your family or friends? The owner will tell you it's for insurance reasons, but this is literally the only place that has this stupid rule in the entirety of the United States. He was also extremely unreasonable - he accused the place next door of being drug dealers: well, the "drug dealer" treated us fantastically better than him! He accused me of harassing his workers - we were only trying to figure out the logistics around his stupid no docking rule! Do not recommend this guy at all. read more

AVOID AVOID AVOID!! We rented a jet skis from them and were excited to get out on the lake. We noticed that their equipment was not in very good condition but we decided to hope for the best. We were WRONG to give them business. We've been on jet skis before so we are not new to this) 20 minutes into the ride the engine starts smoking. We did everything to make it better. We called them to let them know there was a problem and then we had to crutch in for 40 min at 5mph to get it back into the dock and then they acted like we were stupid and treated us horribly. The worst part is even THEY couldn't fix it (they said it was a stick in the engine) and then had the nerve to charge US for "damage". Do NOT rent from this place! They are totally stingy and do not inform you about all of their "rules" when booking and paying your deposits. Do yourself a favor and rent from Shoreline (across the way). We had an amazing experience there and will rent there many times over. We rented a boat for a half day here and they gave us the most beat up, ghetto boat and charged us full price for it. A few notes about the boat: - Entire boat was run down and had clearly seen better days (boat isn't even close to new -- from 2001). - Rips and tears in almost all of the seats. - The stereo was broken (we were told it was stolen and never replaced). - Actual spiders and cobwebs on the boat, not clean at all. In addition to that, we were told AFTER paying our deposit that 1) we could not dock the boat anywhere (by the way, Shoreline lets you dock places) and 2) we were told that we couldn't boat anywhere past Manson (another FYI, Shoreline will let you explore past Manson). I will say -- the teenagers servicing this place were friendly. The same cannot be said for the blond woman who appeared to be the owner. We noticed she was very intense with her employees and with customers. One more plug for Shoreline -- everyone we interacted with there was wonderful! read more

We rented a boat on a Monday morning and wasted about an hour and a half of our time there. The boat we rented had a ripped up interior and had seen a lot of hours. When we finally got our on the water the boat started making a beeping noise every five seconds or so. We went back in the marina just to play it safe and sure enough it wouldn't start again and if we would've stayed out there longer we would've been stranded somewhere in the lake. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE. Me & my family came here to rent a boat, upon arriving the lines were a mess. There was clusters of people to the right of the building and one long line to the left of the main building. The workers didn't know how to organize the crowds of people and everyone was frustrated as they were late for their rentals (parasailing, boat rentals, jet skiis). This should of been a sign for us... so we waited approx 45 minutes to talk to someone about renting a boat. When we booked the rental for the boat - they didn't bother telling us how much the boat would be and ran our card anyways.. We came back two days later for our boat rental, we had to wait an hour in the blistering sun before it was ready. The lady running the place came up to us FOUR times asking us who we were and what we were there for. When it was finally time to board our boat, it was really dirty and had not been cleaned. There were pieces hanging off and bugs and ants all over due to food left on from previous customers. Unfortunately we had to bring the boat back within 20 minutes due to issues with the engine. On top of all of that, the dock leading out to the boat had loose boards, nails risen, and loose rope everywhere - we even witnessed a girl fall and get hurt. No one knew where a first aid kit was since she was bleeding pretty bad.. When we returned from our boat, we asked to speak with the manager to get a refund -- there was apparently already a line of upset customers waiting to talk to her. Overall, the customer service was HORRIBLE, even the workers looked miserable. The lines were all over the place and no one knew what they were doing. These people answered the phone (no one else did) and gave us all the info we needed. $1000 deposit for each driver, credit card needs to match the drivers license name of the driver.
