They have a good selection of hats (caps, Berets, wide brims, bowlers), T-shirts, hoodies, and stuffed animals among things. Their basement also sells roller luggage. Another funny thing I saw was they had a security guard downstairs, but originally I thought he was a cardboard cutout from a distance since he was standing motionless next to a poster of someone wearing the exact same uniform. I had to do a double take but thought it was a cool trick to blend into the surroundings like that. I bought about $50£ worth of stuff - would make good souvenirs or random last-minute Christmas gifts. Under one roof you can have a Big Ben replica, a plate with the queen portrait, Union Jack everything, Mr. Bean (and teddy) dolls. But, the markup is high. I looked some Harry Potter candy and they were double the price compared to an Hardy's candy store. If you are in a hurry, go. But if you have more time, shop around.

My friend wanted to come here because she bought her favourite pair of earrings here yeears ago...so we came in for a bit of a mooch. This place is full of interesting jewellery- some of it was gorgeous/ some of it was not really to my taste. BUT Jewellery is always a very personal thing to choose - so maybe other yelpers'd like the things I cringed at. There was also a large selection of different minerals and gemstones for sale...so this place would make any collector of stones happy. The place was crowded with tourists (Surprise, surprise) but it doesn't matter. The staff were helpful and proactive at cutting the line down. After much deliberation, I ended up picking some Butter Fudge up just for the beautiful silver and blue tin. I can't wait to drop back in to collect more darling tins, foreign candies and souveneirs for home.

What a delightful candy shop!…read more While on a day trip to Oxford to show my 10yo daughter where she *will* be attending university (hey, a mom can dream!), we happened upon this absolutely wonderful little shop, filled to bursting with every delicious sweet you could imagine! All of the standard favorites: humbugs, sherbet dips, chocolate-covered everything, fruit-shaped everything...you get the idea. But imagine my absolute surprise when I spied a shelf stocked with American candy, cereals, and snacks...including my favorite: Cheetos. Not even 48 hour prior, I was telling my husband that I would go to obscene lengths to have a bag of Cheetos, so strong was my craving for the vile snack food. Little did I know that all I needed to do was go to Oxford and visit Hardy's. Sorted! Now excuse me while I go wash the orange from my fingers...
