It's a small corner store just as you get out of Town Hall train station and walk into the QVB. However, don't be disappointed by its size, the smell is all encompassing. I will make a note here that these candles, oils, cremes and other beauty products are not cheap. There is a reason for this, I swear. It's because their products smell divine for hours after. The candles you pay $40 for a 300g but it goes for months and never once looses it's scent. Other candles you buy stop smelling nice by the time you burn it half way. Not so with these. The 350g ones come in a beautiful glass jar with a lid to extinguish your flame. It's double wicked and will have your home smelling divine in under 5 minutes of lighting them. Why the double wick? Well from what I gather a double wick means that it burns more evenly and that there's always a good liquid layer on top. It also burns all the way to the bottom so you don't waste any wax. A double wick also means that there's less soot and the scent, it releases the scent of the candles nicely. So do what I do, treat yourself on occasion. My next one will be the lemongrass. Or maybe the coconut and lime? Decisions!

It's apparent all the employees were friends (or really, really good actors) since they were vibing off each other, so it created a fun shopping atmosphere. Yeah, they might seem to be bugging you about sizes and stuff, but they're just trying to be helpful. I've worked in retail before so I know how it goes. But as a customer, I really appreciate them giving me my space to shop and being so quick to help me whenever I needed assistance. I splashed out and bought myself a shiny new pair with red highlights because that makes me, er, walk faster. You don't actually run in Air Max. They're a lifestyle shoe, not a running shoe. You'd be crazy to run in them. This store is an In the Run store meaning it's more focused on jogging and fitness apparel and has less range than the flagship Pitt St Mall store.

The 17GB data was not enough. Fortunately, there is an abundant source of WIFI everywhere. Some better than others of course. Some areas none at all. However, I was not without WIFI very long. It was just annoying to flip back and forth in the beginning, then it was not much of a hindrance. We purchased this for both of our phones. It was easy to get connected with the service. The staff handled the process of putting the chip in, saving our sim card in the package to not lose them. Settings were updated too. And just like that we were ready to go. I had to come return in a week because was not able to message properly. It took a little while to find the problem and get it corrected. Again handled and taken care of by a sales person. I enjoyed the service I received and will definitely go back when we return on our next visit.

Sad face. After crying for a few hours in fetal position, I manned up and went to the Telstra store around the corner from my hotel on Pitt St. The second I walked in, I was asked if I needed any help. After explaining my situation, they were happy to replace my SIM card right away AND give me back my old number AND make sure I still had all the credit from my old card. WOW. Stupid me again didn't know my old phone number... I had to call people and ask them for MY phone number... awkward. Anyways, Nilesh, the Telstra staff member who helped me was VERY patient and helpful throughout this whole embarrassing process. One of my colleagues WhatsApp'd me my number and Nilesh proceeded to get me setup and explain everything to me in detail on how to recharge my card with more data, etc. Someone give Nilesh a prize, he was a rockstar.
