Just the procedure for a simple crown was literally the worst dental experience I've ever had in my life, and not once did that Doctor stop to ask if I was okay. When everything was done I was just shown out the door with no advice or no medicine to help this now worse pain. I already can't sleep so tonight should be a blast. I will say that the assistant(s) and receptionist however, were very nice and very caring. If I didn't have to come back to get my permanent crown I would never come here again, and i don't recommend it to anyone. ---- update---- A few days later my gums were hurting really bad. Why? Because my tooth was too short for them to put a crown on... So instead of telling me they could not do it, and I'd have to go to a specialist to get a "crown lengthening" they decided just to cut my gums themselves to make room for the crown. I remember having to wait 10 - 15 before continuing with the crown because my gums were bleeding so bad. Anyway, I went back there and again, was in some pretty annoying pain. I asked them if they could give me something to help me sleep at night and instead they gave me mouthwash and sent me packing. Terrible place.

That day I had a crown done and haven't had any issues with it since. Further, I've had a filling and an implant placed here with wonderful experiences across the board. I now bring both of my children here (4 and 9) and they are welcomed by a patient and caring hygienist. Their hygienist takes the time to make sure they have the right brushing techniques and address areas they may need a little more help with. Oh and they are in network with my insurance, MetLife. They do accept the lower MetLife costs and I've only been responsible for my patient portion. My cleanings have never counted toward my max :) ~Highly recommend~

Crown also doesn't match the tooth they destroyed to place this poor dental work, in color or shape. I have pictures if you'd like to see them. I've also been plagued with tooth pain ever since but after paying $1500 for a crown couldn't afford to replace it. When I brought it up to this dentist he said it was supposed to look that way and that I'd have to pay to have it cut off and replaced. With every visit Dr. Cave makes sure I understand what's going on and is so gentle. I have avoided going to the dentist for years and since seeing Dr. Cave I no longer have those fears.
