So happy we chose this spot to have lunch and drinks. Pretty easy to find, off a main road. We went a little early, 11: 30 am or so and the parking was open at the front, there's only a few spots and I believe there is street parking. There's a guard out front and not sure if he was there for another business. Restaurant looks really cute from the outside, you can see the kid's playground on the side of the building. The decor was really nice, on the ceiling, the walls, lots of color and greenery. As we entered, the hostess was there and she was very friendly and sat us right away. There were several groups inside and couples. The price is a good size, you can have large parties. The server told us that there could be a long wait for food, not sure if that was due to short staff or what. We didn't wait that long though, it was totally fine. The Mezcal Jaimica cocktail was delish, not too sweet and the juice was so fresh. They give you chips and two salsas to start, that was really good. I ordered the tortilla soup and it was a nice big portion with avocado and a thick soup base. Also got the Elote bowl and that was just ok. The guac comes in a molcajete with pork rings and pickled onions - yum! That's the only right way to serve it. We ordered the large meat plate and it came with these heavenly potatoes and chiles stuffed with cheese wow! Price was good, food was great and the staff really do make sure you are happy and have everything you need. Def a spot we will visit when in TJ. read more

Great place for families with kids! The menu has a lot of things to choose from. I got the chicken breast mole with spinach rice with a lime/strawberry drink and it was so good! The place has a playground with a person watching over the kids which is GREAT!! Service was a little slow but it was peak time but we weren't really rushing so that was okay with us. Went here with a friend last week and, even though it was just the two of us, I could see it being such a good pick for a group meal. We split a bunch of stuff--the bean flautas, fideo seco, and this sampler plate that had queso fundido, guac & chips, and some spicy beans called frijoles diablos. Those beans were insane--in the best way. Super flavorful and just the right amount of heat. One thing I didn't realize until we sat down: there's a full-on play area for kids attached to the place. Definitely family-friendly, maybe a little too much if you're hoping for a quiet vibe. Still, the space is gorgeous, like someone really cared about the details when designing it. Service was fast, our drinks didn't sit empty for more than a minute. I'd go back for sure--might just try to sit a little further from the kid zone next time. :) read more

Came to check this spot out and I can say it didn't disappoint. Place is nice and classy and well decorated. Food was really really good lots of savory flavors. My favorite were the patron chilaquiles especially that they added habanero peppers which gave it a great kick. This was everything I wanted and more as my First meal after getting to Tijuana. I got to check a lot of the boxes of things I enjoy in one go and devoured all of it. Started off with the esquite / elote. Super creamy with the cotija and Tajín on top. This was a huge portion. I also got the ensalada de nopales. Cut up cactus with tomatoes and onions in oil and topped with avocados. Had to try some tacos. These were filled with vegetables, pickled onions and a crema. Got three chili's stuffed with cheese that were perfect spiciness. Everything was incredibly fresh and light. I ate all of this over two meals, but never felt uncomfortably full. Ordered three different aqua frescas - the Jamaica, pepino y chía, y limonada de fresa. They were all good, but way too strong. I would pour about a quarter into another water bottle. Not the worst, since they lasted me about three days. The strawberry was the best and the cucumber one has a lot of texture to it, so be careful! And naturally I had to get the churro waffles with chocolate. I'm salivating just thinking about it. Unfortunately, I tried all of the vegetarian options, but honestly it was so good that I have thought about ordering the same meal again! read more

The food flavor was something else...It was a new flavor for my tastebuds...something with a twist, it has me wanting to return. We had the steak and Chile Nogada. I came to this little cute place for Mother's Day, we didn't plan it at all, and was just great to find this nice Restaurant to have some brunch. They offer a great variety of hot beverages, juice bar, and even cocktails for the wild ones. The Decor I must said is outstanding, lots of Mexican details, colorful & so chic at the same time. The food was good, but I was expecting more, anyways they serve the typical dishes: chilaquiles, enchiladas, tortas, desserts : the whole menu is with a little twist of flavor and creativity. Love the private room, if you want book it for an special event or a party. They have even a little-tiny wardrobe case that displays lots of items to sell for the girls. One dish we ordered, we were later told they didn't have all the ingredients in stock, and the timing of the dishes was more brought as they were ready, which is fine to me since we shared. The presentation of the food put a new spin on traditional Mexican food. Also, the regional specialties were very tasty. I don't remember all the names of the dishes but the rolled prosciutto with a crispy egg roll-like taquito, was tasty but don't use the sauce which makes it extremely salty. I've been to this restaurant twice and I've liked almost all their dishes. The marrow dish was flavorful but a bit to salty as well. Good salsas too. read more
