I went to the tour at CLS and was so amazed that I asked my Mom " are we being Punked?" From the piano music coming out of the chapel to the specialized attention and care my boys receive I couldn't be more thrilled. My oldest son is a bit ahead of his grade in some areas but his teacher went out of her way to create a secondary curriculum for him in these areas so that he stays challenged and excited. The level of character building and accountability that exists at this school is unparalleled. It takes a village:)

The education is top notch, they do prepare your children for high school. Ms. Weber is the middle school teacher for social studies and she is amazing. My children are learning the Articles of the Constitution right now. She brings history to life. During the first week of school at CLS they did a lot of team building activities and it brought the students together, from that moment on my children had friends. The kids are great and I have not seen or heard of any bullies. The sports program may not have a lot of practices, but I think it so kids are able to do other activities outside of school, which most do. I think the two coaches my children have had in after school sports have been great role models. Thank you CLS staff & coaches for being so kind and patient with my kids. It is wonderful to see all the teachers model true Christ like behavior.

Not only that, is it even legal to hold a child over a parents wishes? I should be able to pick up my child at any time without being treated like crap. He responded to me, and was willing to talk about our disagreements. My son enjoyed him for math. NEW KIDS BEWARE!!! My daughter was bullied in school until she finally got to Cocopah (however you spell it). I was told by the office I could walk my kids to class on the first day because he didn't know where to go. The teachers didn't like that, and were really rude saying "You're not supposed to be in here". Calm down, it's the first day of school. I'm a 4th grade teacher. My family has been involved in many school. This one has been the worst for a new kid.

I really just can't imagine having our kids in any other school…read more Our oldest child is in PACE and the academic standards for the entire school are not too far behind. We have loved nearly all of the teachers that have had the honor of teaching our children. For the ones we didn't quite love as much, well, you win some, you lose some. Some people just don't get along with each other. I can not say anything bad about their skills as teachers because my children are all coming along fine. Their personalities just weren't for us as I'm sure our personalities weren't for them. The Learning Patch is awesome and I truly wish I had more time to volunteer and be a more active part of the PTA. The garden is completely volunteer run, so if you have some extra time on a scheduled workday, please stop by. If you have things to donate: plants, seeds, gardening tools, etc... those things are all happily accepted as well. The PTA: without question or argument, this school would not be what it is without the immense amount of parent involvement. I have heard several people make mention of the the PTA being "cliquish" but I have not personally experienced that type of behavior. I admittedly do not participate as often as I would like to but any time that I have stopped in, I have felt welcomed. I can not recommend this school enough. It has an amazing community.

Broadmor is a true asset to north Tempe and the community at large. It is inclusive, diverse,…read morewelcoming, accepting and fun, while still maintaining academic integrity. While I don't remember everything about my own elementary school experience, I know it was nothing like that provided at Broadmor. From the on-site, student and volunteer run garden to the impressive library, from the fall festival and spring Hoodstock events to regular field days and even a visit from members of the Ironman Foundation, Broadmor continues to deliver a great experience to its students and serves as a place where enduring friendships are made. The teachers, administrators and staff are an amazing group of individuals who all really seem to care about each students and his/her success.

Kathy and Steve and all of the teachers are super supportive of the kids, both inside and out of the classroom. I've even seen them support their students at their Battle of the Bands concerts and also when they set up businesses at farmer's markets. I've seen them support students when they're interested in starting charity drives at school. They really listen to the kids' interests and support their learning through fun and engaging projects. They're not just a school. They're a community that helps these kids become their best selves both inside and out of the classroom. We couldn't be happier with the quality of education, the dedicated teachers, and the principal; the school really feels like a nurturing home for children seeking a supportive atmosphere, friendly classes, and, most importantly, top-notch education. We feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to attend this school. The class sizes are small, and the teachers are exceptional. Many of them have been with the school for a long time, and they genuinely care about each student, taking the time to understand their needs and provide support for their success. Took a tour for a family member becoming a freshman this year. The school had a really bad…read moremusty/moldy odor and lots of roof leaks, and the principal Dr. Hirsch was very difficult to deal with to get the tour scheduled, cancelling on me 3 times and then cancelling on our last tour. Luckily an office receptionist showed us around, which was really nice of them.
