I am writing a review about a doughnut shop and I don't like donuts. Please take that into consideration. But we were on our way back home from the Tides Inn and I was told this was a must stop. Fortunately my friend also doesn't eat donuts....neither of us have a sweet tooth. But this place is super cute and service was on point. Friendly and fast. They could tell we needed a minute so they gave us more time. I think we got 1 glazed donut and split it. Yes...it was good. If you like donuts this would be a good place to go. But they also had breakfast and lunch sandwiches and chips and making a meal a combo. So there were other options. The donut was fresh and sweet....my half was literally all I could eat. Such a fun spot in White Stone! It is a prime location and very cute on the inside as well as plenty of seating outside! The donuts were good. The place is pretty awesome. You walk in and immediately know you're in a posh bakery and not a typical doughnut shop. The variety is great for doughnuts and sandwiches including grilled lunch sandwiches. My only hiccup was the sausage that came on my sausage egg and cheese sandwich was incredibly small filling up only about half the sandwich in size and was dried out. We certainly support local businesses, and I must say the doughnuts looked pretty dang awesome, but we typically aren't sugar freaks and just needed a breakfast sandwich fix. the service was friendly and efficient, but $20 for two small, meh SEC sandwiches, a coffee and a (lukewarm at best) tea (the water from my tap at home is hotter) was a disappointment. About the sandwiches: the rolls were advertised as yeast rolls, but were tough, flat, and definitely on the sweet side (think flat doughnut without glaze. The egg was obviously cooked on site and the cheese was good. The sausage patty was dry and tasteless. The sandwiches were barely above room temp at service, At $6.50 each, pretty pricey for the served product, too. So...yes, we didn't order the shop's specialty, but if you're hoping to get a breakfast sandwich and this being about the only option around, I suggest you temper your expectations. We were so excited about this new addition to Warsaw! We drove from Montross to grab a mixed dozen of doughnuts and some coffee. And it was well worth the drive! They have such a unique and yummy selection of doughnuts. We tried the Oreo, coconut, lemon curd, Boston cream, birthday cake, chocolate iced, choco krispy cereal, and glazed. Everyone was very happy. The coffees (lattes) were good but a little too sweet. I will ask for less pumps next time. The staff was incredibly helpful and very friendly.
