I wasn't able to find much about stables on Baxter but given the states history with horses and Baxter residing in one of the cities oldest neighborhoods I'm going assume this use to be a horse stable. Overall pretty simple mural that is a decent sized. Would be nice to know a bit more of the history about this.

The mural is located on the rear of an exterior commercial building whom parking lot features a large variety of food trucks. So the food at the table theme might have something to do with that. Overall a large and nicely done mural with all sorts of bright colors that makes the mural really stick out.

Located on the patio of an eatery located on the main and clay apt complex in the neighborhood. This mural is a fun one and pays homage to the Butchertown neighborhood it resides in as it features pigs. Which is a theme with other pieces of public art and decor in that neighborhood. Overall a fun and interesting piece that really sticks out. I usually street park near this mural when visiting the main strip of Nulu so it makes it easier for me to remember where I parked.

This particular mural is one of several that is located on the massive exterior of the downtown Marriott and adjoining front porch kitchen restaurant One of the more plain or generic murals featuring a artistic rendition of a downtown building. Every major or small town for that matter has a Main Street including Lousiville. So it's a homage to that. Overall solid addition to the very fun to discover downtown Lousiville alley gallery series.

Must be a mildly newer mural as I've never noticed it before but spotted it from the parking lot of Churchill Downs this past weekend. So naturally I drove over there and checked out the mural. Very well done and fun representation of the city of Louisville that is bound to attract lots of eyeballs especially on the first Saturday in may for the historic and famed Kentucky derby race. Overall very cool mural that I'm glad is here. Definitely a fun and cool photo op.

It was painted on the side of a building near the parking lot of a Speedway gas station. It is colorful, bright, and simply AWESOME!!! Really cool homage to a hometown success story. Worth checking out if you are into public art or a fan of hunter s Thompson. I'm sure he gained a lot of fame after the Johnny depp movie "fear and loathing in Las Vegas". So if you liked that film you may be interested in this place as well.
