She is adding 1- and 2- digit numbers as well. The children's personalities are nurtured while respect and kindness are taught and valued. My girl has been through three classes at Everbrook, each better than the last. I am forever grateful for her experience there, particularly with her current Jr. K teacher, Paige Barrett. Sonia and Janae are responsive and each of our child's teachers were exceptional. We recently had to move daycares because we ended up not buying a home near Primrose School of Hilburn. We were very sad to leave them, and we wish them the best! If there are any negatives, the 'carpool lane' is not always treated as a quick in and out, and you can often get stuck behind cars of parents that go inside and take their time getting out. The hours (7 AM to 6 PM) are a little shorter than other daycares we looked at. And, the holiday schedule seems to provide a few additional days off than we were accustomed to. We viewed each of these items as being very minor, and overall, we were very happy with our Primrose experience!

But the teachers and administrators worked so hard to ensure a smooth transition. They kept us up-to-date on his progress (and even called throughout the day to let us know that even with a rough drop off in the morning, he was having so much fun with his new friends shortly afterwards), and gave us tips to make the change easier. We have loved the teachers in every classroom that he has progressed to. With our youngest, there was no doubt he would also be joining his big brother. Dropping off an infant is always rough the first few weeks, but it was such natural experience at that point and the teachers are so caring with the babies, that I don't think a tear was shed (so different from my firstborn!). We love being able to follow their daily activities on their secure app, and they send us pictures throughout the day and summaries of what they learned and how we can continue with the lessons at home (ex. 'Toddlers did rhyming today, what kind of rhymes can you two come up with for the word xyz'). I had always thought that I would transfer our kids to preschool when the time came, but I see how much they learn every day at Primrose and know that we'll just make the switch to Kindergarten when the time comes. It's a great, involved school, where your kids are really cared for. All of the teachers, administrators, chef, etc know both of my kids by name and my toddler is always excited to give them hugs or run up for a high five. Extra bonus: It's close to Target so when we're in a rush to grab something on the way to pickup, we can always swing by Target for more diapers, etc.

We toured multiple schools, but found immediate comfort and confidence when we toured La Petite on Baines Ct. What attracted us to La Petite initially was the great classroom curriculums, healthy lunches, and the school Director's warm/approachable demeanor. After we enrolled our kids (and in addition to those things) we found that what makes La Petite so wonderful are the dedicated, compassionate teachers, the regular exciting and engaging activities for the kids, and the community of other parents. Our son had the privilege of being in Ms. Dana's Pre-K classroom. He was not only SO prepared academically for Kindergarten thanks to Ms. Dana, but the classroom really fostered his friendships, which gave him great social confidence before beginning Elementary School. Our daughter was enrolled in Upper Two's with Ms. Lily and now is in Preschool with Ms. Taja. Our daughter loves her teachers and looks forward to all the exciting activities they have planned every day. While the academic curriculum is great (she is learning a ton), what we appreciate the most is how much fun she has every day. Whether it's a dance party, classroom yoga, tending the garden outside, or a special guest coming to visit, there is always something fun for her to look forward to. The cherry on top is that our daughter has made some best friends in her classrooms who we hang out with regularly outside of school, too. I don't give out reviews often, but I genuinely feel that La Petite on Baines deserves 5-stars. I am so grateful for the teachers putting in their max effort to make the school such a wonderful, warm atmosphere for our kids. We trusted them even when we didn't look at the cameras. We never felt like he was unsafe or unhappy...They kept us up to date with our son's daily activities through their app and always gave us feedback on the day he had at pick up. The communication has been top tier and the love and patience they gave him will always stick with us. He graduated a few days ago and we're so sad this chapter is closed for so many reasons...one of the biggest is saying good bye to the greatest most loving staff at this location....from the teachers to the wonderful ladies up front to Mr. John in the kitchen. Everyday we take him in he's smiling and playing, it just goes to show how well he is treated and how much he loves being there. They work with us when it comes to his feeding, and suggest different foods we can give him. It takes a lot for parents to put theirs kids in daycare, but I trust the staff and North Haven and don't think twice after I drop him off! If you're looking for a great daycare, this is the one.
