My nearly 1 year old son has been going to Chesterbrook Academy for over 7 months, and my husband and I couldn't be more pleased with our choice to enroll him here. We met with the principal Lauren back when I was pregnant, and knew this was the place for us. She met with us for nearly two hours, and patiently answered all our questions and addressed our concerns. Several parents who were picking up their children even told us (unprompted) that we would love this school. We signed up that afternoon and have not regretted that decision. When I went into premature labor 7 weeks early, they followed up with us and kept in touch up until our son started attending in January. Although he doesn't have any severe issues due to being born premature, they have been sensitive to our needs and concerns ever since we started there, and work with us to adapt to his ever changing feeding and sleeping schedules. As first time parents, the wonderful teachers (including Sophia, Marissa, Megan, Nayhara, Leslie, and Lauren) have taught us so much and have helped us to feel more confident. The school is clean, comfortable, has a positive atmosphere, has tons of activities for all the children (from the infants to the big kids), and they keep us posted with updates on activities, health alerts, food schedules, issues with the facility (when they rarely happen), as well as pictures of our son throughout the day via their Tadpoles app (though these updates are never overwhelming, and you can post notes/updates for them as well). Communication is definitely a hallmark of this school, and this has been very reassuring to us. Also, once a month they offer a "Parents Night Out" (generally the last Friday of the month) where they stay open an extra three hours to allow parents to enjoy an evening together (for only $30). This has been very helpful for my husband and I when we need a break and we feel better knowing our son is with folks we trust. It is also very easy to call the school with questions or concerns, and the teachers and principals are always available to help or provide guidance. Our son has thrived these past few months and has pretty much kept on track with his developmental milestones (even though we were told by our pediatrician that he might be a bit behind due to his premature birth). Chesterbrook Academy has provided a second home for my children over the last 6 years. I don't typically write reviews, but I felt the need to after reading the previous post as it could not be any further from the experience that my family and I have had. Ms. Lauren is kind, loving and warm. My children won't leave for the day without getting a hug and a sticker from her. I can tell the teachers genuinely care about the kids too. We have also always received calls and a report for injuries even if they were just small scratches or if one of our kids isn't acting like themselves that day. The school is fully accredited too so I know they are getting a great education. We even get report cards and can have parent conferences to track our kids' progress. My youngest is in a class with teachers that have been with the school over 9 years, my middle's teacher has been at the school for over 6 years, and my oldest is with the Pre-Kindergarten teacher who was at the school for over 8 years. It is nice to think that my youngest will have the same teachers that the older two had. I cannot imagine my children going anywhere else, so my oldest will be going to the elementary school next door for kindergarten in September. Trust me, you will not be disappointed with this school. Highly recommend CBA Woodshire, both of my children went/go there. I have a 6 year old that graduated pre-school there 2 years ago and currently have a 2 year old enrolled. They both attended since they were infants. I have nothing but positive things to say. All of the teachers are very loving and adore their children. The entire staff is friendly and easy to talk to. The administrators are always available to help if you have any questions or concerns. The teachers keep you informed of your child's day by sending pictures via their Tadpoles tool. At the end of the day you receive a report with all of the things your child learned through out the day. This is super comforting for new mom's to see that their child is happy. My toddler absolutely adored both of the Ms. Marissas from the infant rooms, Ms. Farishta and Ms. Farahana are amazing with the toddlers. My 2 year old loves going to daycare and looks forward to being there everyday. My 6 year old is always happy to see her favorite teachers Ms. Kylie and Mr. Yerssin when she picks up her sister from CBA. My personal go to person for everything is Ms. Sophia she is very helpful and always responds quickly to any of my questions or concerns. read more

Our family has had such a wonderful experience with Chesterbrook Academy, especially in my son's two-year-old class. Every single night, he comes home excited to tell me all about his day and all about his amazing teachers -- Ms. Niah, Ms. Ashle', and Ms. Tina. It is so clear how much he loves them and how safe, happy, and cared for he feels every day. He wakes up excited to go to school just to be with his teachers and friends! I absolutely love receiving photos and updates throughout the day of him playing outside, participating in Soccer Shots, creating art projects, practicing letter recognition, and exploring so many fun learning activities. It's amazing to see how much he is learning while also having so much fun. The teachers greet him every morning with so much warmth, love, and joy, and it truly makes all the difference. He talks constantly about his classmates and the friendships he's building, which has been so special to watch. We are beyond grateful for the care, attention, and positivity this school provides every single day. I am a first time mom, and also new to the area. I was extremely nervous about putting my 6 week old daughter in preschool. I had toured many preschools, daycares and even home daycare options as well. As soon as I walked into the doors of Chesterbrook Academy, a weight of relief was lifted off my shoulders, because I knew that I had finally found the place for my little girl. We have been here for now 3 months, and each day is so wonderful. Every morning I am greeted with big smiles by not only her teachers, but all of them. They all interact with me and my daughter. I love the daily photos of her doing sign language, tummy time, sensory activities and etc. There are no words to describe the amount of love, warmth, communication and dedication from this school, it's teaches and management team. We are so happy to be a part of this school. After researching and visiting many schools, I decided to go with the Chesterbrook Academy. As soon as I walked in, I knew in this was the place for me and my family. I have yet to see a school so beautiful, with a curriculum so unique and teachers who are so loving. We are big fans of the Links 2 Home app which helps us stay connected with the teachers. We also LOVE that they do Parents Night Out 1x a month, so we can do a date night. Speaking of teachers, I can't write this review without mentioning all the teachers we love, from Mrs. Marissa, Ms. Nayhara, Mrs. Andrea, Ms. Josselin, Mrs. Khansaa, Mrs. Jenn M, Mrs. Crystal, Ms. Claudia, Mrs. Samina, and of course Mr. Dominique and Ms. Sophia who makes it all happen. The front staff is attentive, patient, friendly and have a genuine interest in creating an interactive, fun environment for the kids. We tell all of our friends and family and neighbors about them. We switched to this Chesterbrook Academy (from an unrelated school) in March and it was the best decision we ever made! The level of education is second to none and the caring, nurturing environment that our kids learn in is just as amazing! The teachers and the principals are fantastic and truly take an interest in each family. It is so refreshing to walk into a school that is calm and not feel like you're walking into a chaotic romper room. Our kids have thrived in their new environment; they are learning so much and they are having fun with learning! CBA isn't a daycare, it is truly a school where kids learn and grow, including social aspects of what is right and wrong. It takes a village to raise children and we couldn't be happier to be part of the CBA family. Our only regret is that we didn't make the switch to CBA earlier! read more

We cannot speak highly enough of Chesterbrook Academy! They have been an absolute blessing for our 17-month-old daughter. The level of care and attention they provide is exceptional. We're always impressed by how prompt they are in responding to any messages or concerns we may have. The staff at Chesterbrook is simply outstanding. They are not only caring and kind but truly devoted to the growth and well-being of every child in their care. Ms. Sophia, Ms. Marissa, and Ms. Nayhara are absolute standouts, but honestly, every member of the team is wonderful. The impact on our daughter has been remarkable. I can honestly say we are so happy that we found this place! Our children are so in love with the school, the teachers, the environment and so are we! It's a warm and welcoming place with open arms. They are always there to talk to and give advice and suggestions. The teachers are always willing to help and give guidance in way. My kiddos never wanna leave when we pick them up, which is honestly such a good thing! They are so more advanced than all my other friends children, it's astonshing. I recommend this place 100% to people. If you don't enroll your kiddos here, than you are missing out on love and affection and quality education for your children! read more

My daughter is now approaching 2 years old and we still love CBA as much as we did on day 1. Ms. Lauren and Ms. Lesley continue to be the best team we could hope for - kind, genuine, involved, and experts on everything child-related (so much that they are often who i consult with first with questions related to my daughters health and behavioral development). The teachers are equally wonderful (one of her toddler teachers has a masters in psychology!) and are the only persons apart from family who have ever babysat my daughter. I genuinely do not have a single complaint about CBA; I am just grateful that we found them. read more

My son has been attending Chesterbrook for about 4 months, and we're happy with the attention and education he's receiving. It makes my day to get updates throughout the day with photos showing what he's doing. The teachers and helpers all seem to be caring and knowledgeable. The first month or so my son was very upset at drop-off, while he was still adjusting to a new school. The teachers would always help comfort him and distract him. He comes home and tells us all the new things he's learning! He especially loves his teacher Mr. Yassen. I highly recommend this school. read more

The staff is incredibly caring and considerate. They will go out of their way to help you (and your child). I am happy knowing that most (if not all) the teacher's recognize and know my child. This pre-k program is as good as it gets. Me. Yaseen is the best around - patient, kind, respectful. The changes in my son have been incredible this year - he learned to write, gained never before seen confidence, and made a ton of new friends.
