I have been going to this hairdressers for some time - and I had some great haircuts and styles from several of the stylists there. More recently however, the owner, AnneMarie cut my hair and the experience itself, although rushed and somewhat abrupt, was acceptable. Mind you, this tends to be fairly typical of local provincial hairdressers if one is not a local or known to them previously. By all accounts she has great name having worked for TV and judging by her overall attitude, she has a full awareness of her reputation and abilities. Its unfortunate then that all customers are not treated equally. I knew I was being rushed although I hadn't obviously realized that my hair was being butchered. I wasn't happy with the style when I left and trying to style it myself afterwards was virtually impossible. I recently had my hair cut in another salon and the stylist promptly pointed out chunks of hair cut in a mish-mash and I wasn't surprised. I'm afraid I am done tolerating this attitude of arrogance just because one isn't a weekly / monthly regular. I was actually considering using this salon for my upcoming wedding as they do take Sunday appointments (v convenient) but this is obviously no longer a consideration. read more
