we had never been to this service station. went in looking for a headset for a Motorola radio…read more figured it was something truckers might use. what a clean pleasant store. they have an attached Wendy's burger place along with their own hot bar, bakery and huge coffee area. very nice truckers lounge too. employees greeted us and asked to help us. we described what we were looking for and we described it. they searched all over the store including back rooms and storage areas. the manager, John was looking as well. at one point John said .... wait a minute, I'm going to look in my car. he was gone about 10 minutes and then reappeared behind the counter working on a project. we approached him and he had wet wipes in his hands cleaning something. he handed it to my husband and it was a headset with ear piece and microphone for the radio. he said I believe this is it. it's old, but used to work. we tried to pay him, he would take NOTHING. My husband said, at least let me buy you a beer. John said no. husband took them to work this morning. good as new.... it WORKS! these people really went the extra mile to help us! exemplary customer service! they went the extra mile to help a stranger. I don't know if all Pilot employees are like this but we appreciate you so much, John. great store & employees. corporate should be very proud of these folks. true AMERICAN SPIRIT! this location now has our loyalty. cheers Tim & Debbie

Worst gas pumping experience of my life, though in full disclosure, I currently live in Mexico…read morewhere I don't have to pump my own gas. And I previously lived in New Jersey, where I also did not have to pump my own gas. I attempted to pre-pay for my fill by inserting my credit card into the pump. The transaction appeared to have been authorized. Upon finishing pumping, the machine did not print me a receipt. Normally, I would have just driven off, except I had to use the bathroom. When I was halfway between my car and the entrance, I began to be summoned inside to pay (over the loudspeaker), at which time two clerks began to argue over how to correctly charge me for the payment snafu at the pump. It quickly became obvious which of these two was the pilot in the charge of the cockpit. This back-and-forth banter was a 2-3 minute ordeal, and wasted 2-3 minutes of my life I'll never get back. So instead I'm spending 2-3 more minutes to tell about it.

Most customers will pay over 20 cents more than that advertised price. I complained to who appeared to be the owners--they stated: "read the sign." A little psychic ability would help too. They ensnare you by listing a low price and then try to squeeze every last penny from you through deceptive signs. Bathroom also closed. A sad troubled business. STAY AWAY--go to the Flying J directly across the highway. What a way to make a living--DECEPTION.

It says…read more"AMOCO" on one of the signs, so they should be selling Amoco gas, but it comes up as "Shell" here. It is NOT owned by Amoco! Avoid this place! Merchandise is not marked with a price! They want you to blindly pay for things without knowing the price, and their prices are HIGH. I asked a prices from the cashier and he said everything had prices, then looked for himself and found out he was wrong. What a SCAM! Not buying things from a store when they can't be bothered to put prices on their merchandise.

About the only advantage that this gas station has is that it is the first gas station that you will encounter when you get off Interstate 95 and head west bound. She said they only carry the full metal ones. I explained that I was new to the RV world and this was our first long trip and that we had traveled from Maine to Florida. She suggested I might want to have a safty check and that It was only $50. I figured that was cheap for peace of mind. When they did the saftey check they found a dangerous issue. They should us what it was and explained everything very clearly. We were schedule to leave that day and if we didn't our schedule would be messed up. They said they would get ti fixed for us. AND they did by 4 pm we were on the road feeling onfident that our rig was safe. I can't thank them enough!

Thankfully we noticed it when we stopped at the gas station before getting back to highway 95. After noticing, we drove to this location where we found honest, very friendly and helpful personnel. They fixed the wheel hub in less than an hour. Price was reasonable, although they could have taken advantage of our circumstances. Highly recommend this place.
