The Staff her are always nice when greeting you in the door!! They have a small selection of hot items and plenty of packed good to meet tour snack needs. When I need gas on my way to work this I my stop, since I use the Extra Mile App my purchases get me up to $1 of per gallon up to 25 Gallons... Driving a truck this definitely helps and the money you save can go towards snacks LOL. I feel like the gas here is cleaner than most stations around Gelndale/LA. I paid for my gas, saw that there was a symbol for bathrooms on the door and when I got inside they deliberately locked it right in front of me saying bathrooms are for customers only. I told them I just put gas in and they still denied me. Either say NO BATHROOMS INSIDE or take the sign down or get over yourself. read more

Worst customer service. I'm a repeat customer I always drive on the 2 freeway and buy gas because it's convenient and right off the freeway. This time I was here on 8/29/2022 around 6pm and my tire gauge showed low tire pressure so I asked the cashier kindly if I can use the air machine to level my tire I'm surprised he denied service to me after I mentioned to him I'm a customer and this is a service station and air is free since it's part of the service offered to business customers I was denied using the air machine again unless this time I pay $1.5 for the air. I tried to explaining to the cashier it's illegal in California to charge for air in a gas station but no chance. I drove off with front flat tire to another Chevron 1.1 miles away and I was greeted nicely and had access to free air for my tire. I hope the owner or the franchise Rep reads this review and feel ashamed of who they hire to represent their brand. Not buying gas there anymore they just lost my business. read more

The guy hamish is the worst he charged me $.50 for air in tires and then shorted me a dollar on the 20 - when I came back in he said "I know" - I asked why didn't you come out if you noticed that you were a dollar short - he said it's your job to come in... shady sketchy business owner horrible man. Went inside to ask them to turn on the air the answer was "no we don't do that" I offered to pay with card he said "it only takes cash" I went back to my car to get cash and came back to get change and the response was "we don't make change" I'm just giving the facts and no opinion. I've been to this gas station a few times in the past decade and the customer service was never good. There were times I asked the cashier for courtesy air and water, but was told I had to insert $1.50 into the machine. I ended up paying so that I can put air in my tires, but the machine was broken. I told the cashier what had happened and expected a refund, but was told that the air pump is independent of the gas station; I think that was totally BS. I used to visit this location a lot due to the convenience of being near the 110 and 5 freeways. In my last visit, one of the pumps broke and continued to pump fuel even though my tank was full. The gasoline overflowed out of the tank and I had to manually stop the pump. The gas attendant had to call their manager to figure out what to do about it. Their resolution was to give me $5 for pumping extra gas... What kind of resolution is that? Won't be coming back here again. read more

I stopped here to get some high octane fuel, and for some incredibly stupid reason, I managed to shove my Von's Rewards card into the receipt slot. It was an incredible brain fart on my part. I asked one of the assistants if he could help me to get it out. He got the key, opened it and then went back for a flashlight to see into the mechanism. He could not find the card but asked me for a card to see if that would shove it out. It did and I got my card back. Rafi is his name and I thank him from the bottom of my heart for having patience and working it out better than I could. Thank you! read more

Rude, rude, rude, rude! If you come here, just come here to get gas, pay at the pump, and leave. Don't go inside the mini-mart, because all you will deal with are a bunch of guys behind the counter who barely speak English, who don't greet you, who don't respond when you ask a question and they just kind of look at you like you're bothering them. You can't even come in here for change, because whether they have it or not they are rude to you. If they don't have it they look at you like you are disturbing them, and that you had the audacity to even come in and ask for change. This is not a service station.
