Says it's 24 hours but I was shoo'ed away at the door around 11 PM... confused as to why they are false advertising.

This is a warning for the Tim Hortons at this location. Do not go there…read more.. - they will get your order wrong. Perhaps there radio is broken. I ordered a coffee and was given water. I order 12 bagels and was given 1. - you will hear "I'm sorry, we are still baking the hash browns" about 50% of the time. Doesn't matter when you go. There's another one at Queens and Lonsdale. So truly why risk it?

This review is strictly for the car wash section of the gas station…read more My car was a little dirty, but just the average build up of road grime over about 2 weeks. Normally I would do it myself, but since I didn't feel like washing my car in the freezing cold, I decided it would be best to use the car wash. Boy was I wrong. I didn't have super high expectations, but after I ran though and inspected my car, it looked exactly the same as it did before I went in. To be fair, the front of my car was *slightly* cleaner than before. But it completely missed all the dirt from the wing mirrors to the tailgate. I went into the office to bring this to the attention of the staff. The manager came out to look at my car and was relatively friendly about it. He said the only thing he could do was run me though again. So I spent another 25 minutes waiting in line, only to have EXACTLY the same result the second time. I went back into the store again, and was given a full refund (the staff were very apologetic). So yes, Esso made the situation right by providing me with a full refund. But what I don't get back is the 45 minutes I spent at the car wash, only to drive away with my car looking virtually the same as it did when I arrived. One final point. There's some ingredient in the soap used (maybe a wax). It's great for the paint, but because it's used on the whole car, it comes in contact the windows too. Now my windshield is a smeary mess in the rain. Thanks Esso, now I not only have to hand wash my car anyway, I also have to screw around with different products trying to get the damn film/haze off my windows so I can see at night or in the rain! What a headache!

Gas station out by the PNE area…read more The pumps are only 1 per aisle, which is always great for not having to wait for people. This location doesn't have free air which sucks. There's a 7-Eleven attached for those who are hungry, though there's also a McDonald's a block away. Oh yeah, this place also sells the office tank style Tim Hortons coffee.

If I ever bothered to 'check in' here, I would be the almighty god of this convenience store (and…read moregas station, but I don't drive so whatever). It is pricey, but they have almost all the emergency necessities I've ever needed. Milk, eggs, peanut butter, bread, juice, kraft dinner, munchies, tampons.. you got it! And as of recently they started carrying CHEESE. It's all fairly overpriced but since it is so close to my house I just ignore that. There is usually a good deal on one of their energy drink varieties and the vitamin waters.. and they have pizza pretzels. Aw yeah! Oh, and they have one of those miniature Tim Horton's inside. The kind that makes bagels, donuts, and sandwiches but you're S.O.L if you want soup. Bonus items to note: a large variety of pizza pop flavours, perogies, a decent ice cream selection, all of the different milk percentages (but no soy?) and tons of kitchen cupboard essentials like pancake mix. They need to be open 24 hours or something. They're the only convenience store near my house and everyone must cater to me at all times.
