So when Gayle and I were recently cruising in from the Death Valley/Shoshone area, we filled up here in the interest of having a full tank as we journeyed on. This station arguably has the cheapest gasoline in Parrump, if you consider 4.29 (Cash or Debit) a good deal in these times. However, the credit price (4.41) was a little higher than I expected. I did notice that the line did for the drive through was LONG and moved solely. We've been going here for years. Whenever we're in the area, it's our go to for our drug store needs. Since it's walking distance from the Holiday Inn, it provided a convenient place to get basic needs. The store is clean and organized. Most items that I looked for were on the shelves. They also always have sales on things at seasons end, just like other Walgreens stores.

During the wash I noticed that the component for wheel/tire washing was not working. After the wash I went into the store to get a receipt for the wash and to let the cashier know that the tire washing component was not working. When I asked for a receipt, she asked what pump. I told her I didn't buy gas, just the wash. She said if I paid with a credit card, I didn't need a receipt and that none was available. As for the car wash problem she knew nothing about that and that I'd have to talk with the person filling propane tanks. I did that and that person said she couldn't handle that as she was filling propane tanks. I hope she managed to find time to check when her activities allowed.

Being in Nye County, the gas tax is lower than Clark County, so it pays to fill up here to/from your trip to Death Valley. The sign said $2.35 cash price. This compares to $2.69 at Costco in Las Vegas when this was written. I used my Costco credit card and the price was still $2.35. Even though the sign said cash, it was the same price for cash or credit. I was in and out quickly. Now I know what to do the next time I go to Death Valley. Please do fill up here.
