I would give no stars if it was possible. Their sign read $4.36 for diesel fuel. We paid cash and when we started pumping the actual price was $5.89! When I asked the clerk she told me that Chevron shares their sign with Valero. I told her it is under the Cheveron Logo and very misleading. Do not go there and fall for their games and get ripped off. Go to ARCO across the street who actually sell their diesel for their price posted $4.36. Shame on you Chevron! I came here for gas clean my windows. Use the restroom. Everything went really smooth but the cherry on top was Maria the cashier who was so on the ball told us about things that were on sale. Gas prices not marked up exorbitantly, squeegees with semi-soapy water, and bathrooms that are not filthy. Guess that's about all you can find at a gas station nowadays. For those driving between SoCal and NorCal, Coalinga makes for a good stop that's roughly at the halfway point along I-5. This Chevron is located near a couple other gas stations and is priced only slightly higher than them. Gas at this Chevron was around 20 cents/gallon higher than at a typical station in a bigger city. Not an unreasonable price to pay for highway convenience. There's a decent number of pumps and parking spaces. And the pump I used gladly took my credit card and dispensed a receipt, something that some other stations can't seem to manage. There are separate restrooms here for men and women, and the men's had multiple urinals, stalls and sinks. The restroom was mostly clean by gas station standards, which again is more than can be said for some. In short, this place doesn't win any awards, but neither does it suck. read more

Stop by this gas station on the way home from Malibu it was close by the Harris Ranch. It's a very large gas station with a lot of pumps and inside the shop there is so much snacks and drinks to choose from even food. They have a cold grab and go and a hot grab and go area where you can grab things like hotdogs burgers nachos sandwiches and other things. They also have healthy options like fruit they have bagels and cream cheese. The store blows my mind when it comes to snacks because there is such a huge variety for chips candy and chocolate, you're definitely bound to find some type of snack that you're looking for. And by the looks of it they're really well clean and very very well stocked everywhere in the store. Definitely a good stop over if you're heading to LA. read more

Price gauging!!! I always get Chevron gas, so I watch and know the current prices. This station was charging $2 more per gallon than the Chevrons in both Southern and Northern California, and $2 more than the station at Santa Nella which is an hour north. As I looked around there were roughly 15 cars getting gas. Probably getting 15-20 gallons each. They're getting $30-40 more per car, or $525 more from every new crop of cars that pulls in every what, 15 minutes or so? Are they gauging a total of a couple thousand dollars EVERY HOUR???? This Chevron station has everything that you need when traveling north or south on the I-5 freeway. The bathrooms are located on the outside of the building, easily accessible. It is only during major holidays that you have to wait to pump gas. Most of the time there is always a pump available. To locate this station I always look for the red Harris Ranch sign, then I know it is time to get off the freeway for a pit stop. Everyone, including the furry pet "children", enjoy getting out of the cars and stretch their legs. On my last trip, I saw this dog on the grassy area strechting his four legs for the longest time. The girl holding the leash pulls on it, shouting "hurry up and pee" LOL. If you have a Vons reward card, you receive a gas discount, I am not sure what it is, I don't have a Vons card. :) The casheirs are very friendly and pretty quick, even when it gets busy. For my travels, this gas station becomes half way point going south or north. If you do not mind the odor in the air or learn (adjust) to it, this gas station is a well deserved pit stop. The bathroom is pretty clean and stocked with toilet paper as you know, girls need it ...haha. Aside from the smell of this place on any given day just about ... any time of the day, this is really a nice, clean and well stocked, well lit gas station. I thought I was having some car issues, and frankly my plumbing needed relief anyway so I stopped by here to check out the car, use the facilities and maybe stave off my hunger with a protein shake, should they have any. First, the restroom was pretty clean, and it had paper! It's so hard to find a nice and well air conditioned restroom these days. Then, there were the actual soap suds in the windshield cleaner tub, which of course is another rare find since most gas stations just put dirty water in there ... or never change it. Finally, I thought the convenience part of the store was quite well stocked, they had not only protein shakes, but three different kinds. Win. Served my purposes! read more

This location looked clean on the outside we stopped here yesterday on the way home from Malibu the inside looked clean the cashier was friendly and had his child with him the restrooms had no toilet seat liners which right away I did the old fashioned way of putting toilet paper on the seat but I would hope this establishment would keep toilet liners full not run out at anytime if it is one thing I am ocd on public restrooms they should always have plenty of toilet paper and plenty of toilet liners I won't have to worry about coming here again since it is not close by but this establishment needs major Tlc done to it big time read more

Be careful when paying for fuel combined with store bought items. I purchased a soda and a small bag of chips I handed the cashier two $20 bills and one $5 bill and asked her to put the change from $45 into pump #1. I noticed that my pump stopped short from what I expected to receive in fuel. Turns out she shorted me $5 from my fuel purchase. The cashier thought I must have been stupid and kept the $5 bill and took the store purchased items and took it out of the $40 I also gave her. I came back into the store and asked why I paid a little over $10 for a small bag of chips and a soda and was quickly told that she set up the pump for an additional $5. I pumped it and left. One of my prior professions was a loss prevention officer and I can tell you from investigating cashier theft that this was no accident. She pocketed the $5 and hopped I was too stupid to do the math at the pump. I'm super confused by the 5-star reviews and statements like "its huge!" and "they have a ton of snacks!" People. This is a regular gas station with one of the grossest bathrooms I've seen in a long time. No toilet paper, no paper towels, and the smaller stall looked like a place someone would get murdered in. Someone was also thoughtful enough to leave the bottle cap they shot up with on the sink for the next guest. 2 stars instead of 1 since they do succeed at selling gas. read more

I know it's kind of strange writing a review on a gas station, but I always stop at this Chevron on my treks from the Bay Area to LA. I always receive top notch service inside. The prices can be steep, but you're in the middle of nowhere and they know people need gas. A tradition of mine is to buy a pickled sausage here, which is a spicy sausage made of cow hearts in a salty brine that will spill all over you and stink up your car. Helpful hint: the bathrooms outside are typically cleaner than the ones inside. read more
