We got there and we couldn't stop trying stuff ! They had an amazing cuvée wine that I should have taken pictures of because it was mind blowing . The Staff was great, even with our limited ability to hold conversations due to language barrier we would recommend this place to anyone driving by this area. Our drink orders were immediately taken and we looked over the menu. The place is simply decorated, but cool music in the background made it relaxing and comfortable. The bartender came over and explained all the menu choices, then called the chef to help describe the dishes. We appreciated this so much! I don't remember the exact names but we ended up ordering 6 Tapas for two people, per the recommendation of the staff (we asked them to surprise us with the last two items because we had a hard time deciding). We ate stuffed red peppers with the cream herbed-cheese of some sort, rice balls with black beans, a cold tomato soup reminiscent of gazpacho, chorizo in a very flavorful sauce (my husband ended up dipping everything in this), cod croquettes, and a raw cod filet "cooked" in an amazing lemon, salt, and pepper combo. If in Nimes, try this place! They are super friendly, and the other patrons seemed to love them also.

I came here after dinner to enjoy a few tastings of wine and a small cheese board (too much for one person!). Was so perfect! I've been wanting to sample wines from the region but haven't made it to a wine tour. This place has self serve wine pours on tap. Coolest thing ever! You put a card in the machine then select your wine and size of pour (pours range from around .90-2€ for the smallest taste and 4.80 - 7ish€ for a full pour). They also have some aperitifs. I got to sample 5 wines and loved it! Some I liked more than others, but that's the fun of it! If you love the bottle you can buy it right there and drink it or take it home. Staff is super friendly and the outdoor seating area is great! Definitely stop by if you're into wines (and if you and you're partner can't agree on red or white :P)

We went to Glouglou twice during our stay in Montpellier and each time we got different cheeses. The first time it was amazing. The second time was ok, but not phenomenal. I don't mind that it changes, but it's just worth knowing it wasn't the same.

Usually 3 mains to chose from per daily set (along with 3 starters and 3 deserts). they use only fresh ingredients form the market. They cook traditional French food. The food is very delicate, fine, well prepared. The chef is very young but you can tell he knows what he is doing. Staff: very helpful, always willing to describe all dishes and their customization. A big plus for the pork wellington. They serve genuine "pata negra" smoked black pork ham from spain (see photo). Make sure you try it! Outdoor seating. Make sure you book a table or show up super early! A set costs about 28 Euros.
