My youth son paid a registration fee for the season and besides charging the parents/ fans to view the games this year, 2023, the soccer PLAYERS have to pay the $5 fee as well or else they can't play unless their hand is stamped!! Huge fantastic facility that does soccer leagues, other sports, and party rentals. There's four pretty good sized fields for everyone from adults to kids and even a few warm up areas if you're waiting for a previous game to get over. It's really clean, very well maintained, and there's tons of parking in the lot outside. The concessions serve beer and theirs even a few arcade games if you're not into sports at all and just tagging along with someone. Overall...it's pretty much everything you'd want in an indoor sports complex. read more

This is my first review. I felt I had to do it. Because of the great experience we had. I got hosted my daughter first birthday party at Chicago Indoor Sports and we had a blast. We went with the World Cup Party package that includes everything expect for the cake. They even let us bring a real Piñata. The kids had a blast. We had pizza (Home Run Inn, which was very good) and hamburgers. They let me bring a salad and a fruit plate. The staff is very accommodating and really really helpful. All the parents kept telling me how much fun their kids had and they were happy too with the experience. Even though the place was packed, it felt private, we had a good size private area just for us (where the inflatables are). If you are thinking about having a birthday party here don't hesitate, it is really worth it. read more

I attended a one-day soccer tournament at Chicago Indoor Sports and thought it was a decent facility. Though my team was a bit hungover with the occasional mid-game run to the bench to dry heave, we had a good time. Being able to offer four indoor fields differentiates them from competitors. I thought the field turf was a little run down though, and the food options were pretty weak. Lack of a locker room wasn't really helping anyone either. These deficiencies I found as strengths at a rival field a few blocks away. However, Chicago Indoor Sports didn't look at you as a foreigner when the first words out of your words were English as the rival field did. Definitely a plus. This place is definitely OK in my book as their medical staff was not only very attentive to my injuries, they were pretty laid back people and easy to talk to. read more

Physically a nice place but when we played in a Players Sports league there we were told we could not wear cleats of any sort on indoor turf! This is turf, not the old astroturf so it is really not the best experience playing with the old style shoes when other facilities have similar looking turf and allow cleats. Not sure if the price was because of the league or the facility but it was pricey so get ready to shell out some big money to play there! Otherwise, parking lot was well lit and the place was clean, including the bathrooms. read more

I believe this place was built in preparation for the (possible) olympic games in Chicago. Well, that didn't happen, but we were left with this awesome indoor soccer facility. Since it's opening, my kids have used the facility for soccer training camps and leagues set up through outside sources. I was there recently for a birthday party and they have really expanded the usage of the place. They have a roped off party area with bouncies for the kids. I know in the past, the parties also consisted of actually using the soccer field for planned games. The kids then go into a private party room for food and cake. My daughter enjoyed the party very much and wants to have her next party there. This was on a Saturday evening and the place had adult league games going on. It was a bit crowded, but with enough adult help, you'd be able to keep the kids in order. There were a lot of men, so like at many places, not just here, I wouldn't recommend letting the younger kids go to the bathroom alone. read more

Supposed to have 2 facilitators - so I won't have to lift a finger....I did everything.... Only 1 facilitator...and he was injured so he could not do much. He did NOTHING! Mike told me 2 facilitators would be there. My son was with me and he even recalls him saying this to me. I told Mike there would be a lot of 8 year old boys and they get crazy and wild when they are together and that I needed to be sure there were 2 people on the field with them and that the party needed to be structured to be sure no one got hurt or and to be sure they would play football and soccer fairly. Mike told me when I brought the deposit that he would give us that larger field because he had no one else schedule there and that we could have the field for 1 1/2 hours. They told me kids could play on field for 1 1/2 hours then 1/2 hour on inflatables. They told me technically 1 person is on the field with them and then 1 person is by the inflatables. I specifically told them I could not have both activities at the same time. Mike agreed then for the first 1 1/2 hours to be on the field and the other 1/2 hour on inflatables. I even told this to Red and she said I could do it however I wanted to do it. At the party, they told me that only one facilitator was there; Fernando, and that Julia, the party coordinator did not schedule another one to be there. After they told me this...I complained and then Red came to me and told me that they were able to get a second person to help Fernando. Still NO ONE WENT OUT ON THE FIELD!!! After one hour, they told us we had to get off the field because we were only scheduled for an hour and that another group was going on the field. So 20+ 8 year old boys had to go to the inflatables for the next hour with little kids that were there too. My son was kicked in the mouth as no facilitators were there supervising the inflatables. My husband and I had to watch kids, set up food, entertain guests. I had to talk to Mike, the General Mgr, on the phone, as he was not there for the party...so they had to call him on the phone so that I could discuss field time. When I told him on the phone about the field time, he told me we only had it for an hour. Then I explained about 2 facilitators not being there...he asked me if the kids were having fun...I asked him if I was having fun. He told me that the main thing was if the kids were having fun. I told him he would have to deal with my husband and he said he would be back in the facility by the end of the party. Then blond mgr came and told us they had no one was scheduled on that field and that we could stay on there. Kids were already playing on inflatables and when some went back to the field...other stray kids were on there that should not have been. Food order was given to them at 5:20PM...because I had to go around and take everyone's order on top of everything else. Then the food was not ready until after 6PM. I make these pizzas at home and they take 12 minutes....it took over 45 minutes for the kids to get their pizzas. Adult pizzas were ready first so I served those to the kids as they were starving. No one helped my husband bring in stuff or carry stuff out. Never received $10 worth of tokens.They told me Julia the party coordinator would contact me to discuss party. She never called me before hand; I had no messages either on my cell or home phone. She was not there when I went there to drop off the deposit and she was not there the day of the party. I paid them to do these things so that I could entertain adults there and so i did not have to worry about kids getting hurt. You can never have too many adults watching 20 kids at once. TOTAL NIGHTMARE PARTY...they are lucky my son did not really get hurt. If you want a party where you pay $400+ and have to do everything and the kids run wild with no supervision...then this is the place for you. I will never step foot in this place again and I hope others will not too. My son has a holiday lacrosse camp there and now we will not go....I will not do anything there and I will not refer anyone there either. read more

7 Players on a small field can make the game seemed a bit congested at times for soccer. Plus the clear glass can mess you up at times. On a positive note it has a solid playing surface and 4 fields in a indoor facility is very solid. Otherwise it's a good facility and has more upsides then downsides. read more

I was here for a kids birthday party. The facility itself is great, the staff was friendly. What made my experience not a fun one, was all the drinking that was going on in the facility. I don't have an issue with people drinking and watching sports, but I do think that the facility can do a better job at placing their drinking customers away from the children's birthday party area. A few of the patrons we're past the just a few beers and they were making their spectacle right in front of six and seven year olds. Additionally, once we left and walked to our car, there were several groups of people sitting/standing around their cars drinking. They had at least one case of beer out in the open and lots of drinking. The place is nice, but those details are definitely the ones that are keeping us away for sure. read more
